Disabled people shouldn't have to rely on luck for access to our theatres, we need consistency. There is intrinsic value in removing all barriers. For artists, employees and audiences. And there's clearly a lot more to do...
Disabled artists have highlighted how they are being prevented from working in many theatres around the UK because of inadequate access, with warnings that the industry is “robbing them of opportunity, dignity and independence”.

New stats from the @DWPgovuk today show that just 31.4% of people whose main or secondary health condition is "difficulty in seeing" are in employment, down from 34.1% in 2018. It's why campaigns from @TPTgeneral and others are so important in pushing for change.
