Preaching from Acts 8 today. There’s something powerful about opening the same Bible week after week and realizing that God’s Word keeps meeting you right where you are.

Acts 8 is a story of persecution, obedience, unexpected people, divine appointments, and the gospel moving forward in ways the early church never could have planned. The church was scattered—but the gospel wasn’t stopped.

Sometimes what feels like disruption to us is actually part of God’s mission. Praying today that we won’t just hear the Word, but that we’ll have the courage to obey it when God leads us somewhere unexpected. Let’s go. 🙏

Wrapping up Acts 5 tomorrow at Jubilee City Church. Praying for the Lord to have His way and for me to be out of His way. I'm just thankful to be a vessel used by Him!

Encouragement is rocket-fuel for the soul. A man can go 3x as far and do 30x as much if he is an ENCOURAGED MAN. It is, in my opinion, the most underrated spiritual gift.

Jesus must be more than Christian branding!!! He is EVERYTHING. Without the Person of Jesus Christ, we have nothing. Chew on that today! He's more than a brand; He's LIFE! (John 14:6)

The disciples were looking for a throne. Jesus was preparing them for a mission.

Just read your Bible, pray, and keep your focus on Jesus. The Bible is clear: DO NOT FEAR. Perfect love casts out fear. (1 John 4:18)

Sleep score: 47. 😅 Many of us use an Apple Watch or something similar to track our sleep. Mine last night? A rough 47. And when we don’t sleep well, it affects everything—our focus, emotions, energy, and even how we respond to life. It got me thinking… What would our Bible reading score look like? How often are we truly in the Word? How much time are we spending with Jesus? How often are we meditating on Scripture instead of just scrolling through distractions? The more time we spend in God’s Word, the more grounded we become. That doesn’t mean life will always be easy or everything will go perfectly. But it does mean we’ll know the truth, recognize deception, and remain steady no matter what comes our way. A strong spiritual foundation doesn’t happen accidentally. It’s built daily in the presence of God and through His Word. “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” — Psalm 119:11 (ESV)
