With the Rays and Brewers facing off in the World Series, this means at least one member of the 2025 @LouisvilleBats will have played for a World Series winner in 2026.
Ryan Vilade spent the entire season with the Rays, while Lyon Richardson pitched in one game for the Brewers.
Congrats to all my friends in Rocket City.
Heck of a finish and that wide shot with the fireworks is immaculate.
Most of that front office has been there since the beginning in 2020, which is something you don’t see a ton of in MiLB today.
Minor League Baseball has a funny way of coming full circle.
In 2016, Orlando Arcia was the #1 prospect on the Colorado Springs Sky Sox during my first job in baseball. I even wrote about him for our program.
Ten years later, he finished this season with me in Louisville.
