California has achieved what many thought impossible. Since March, solar, wind, geothermal, and hydropower have generated 100%+ of the state's electricity demand nearly every day. A thriving economy can indeed run on clean energy! 👏 bit.ly/45QCYCr

I already re-posted this, but it keeps grating on me. This is the US saying *explicitly*: "We don't care what the rules say in the trade agreement we signed with Canada and Mexico. We will do what we see as beneficial for us." Hard to see how this takes us to a good place.
It has been 538 days since the USMCA panel report on auto RoOs was made public, with a finding against the United States. This week, USTR finally admitted that it has no intention to ever comply.

I cant get this idea out of my head: range-extended electric vehicles w/100+ mile electric range and a small efficient combustion engine/generator to power an all-electric drive train seem like the ideal near-term product for the American truck & giant SUV market. Here's why...

killer heat Waiting for 2 reactions: 1) it's always been hot in summer, you climate alarmists; 2) the same eco-terrorists starting wildfires to force climate action on us are now simultaneously cranking up their furnaces and leaving their doors open. bit.ly/3XAIfeX

Had a great talk with @SamJamesMorgan on his podcast The Jolt about the new US Climate and Trade Task Force, its relationship to the EU CBAM and other trade/climate trends.
Check out today's episode! CBAMs are all the rage, is the US on the cusp of implementing one too? @AaronCosbey joins me on The Jolt to explain why the thinking behind a new climate/trade task force suggests that the answer is probably 'yes'
