Happy Birthday 43. Thanks for always being a Tar Heel and for all you did for the Cavs. Appreciate you!
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You Jesus
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in Your presence
Or to my knees, will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine
A year ago I deleted Facebook and Instagram. This past week I deleted TikTok and Linkedin. No going back.
I am posting this on X and I realize that this too is a platform but it's the last one and one day, it will be gone too.
Get off the apps. Get off of your phone. Be free.

I'm equally convinced if some candidate came out with one ad and just said "I'm (insert name), I don't do political ads and hit jobs and I approved this message" They would give my vote. Right, left or otherwise. One ad. One time. Vote is yours. 🗳️
I am convinced we could wipe out the National Debt if we took all the money spent on political ads, texts, emails and mailers and sent it towards the debt. Who is convinced by a single text, ad, mailer? Not sure about you but they just make me want to cuss.
Enough already.
A year ago I deleted my FB and Insta accounts. One year later I can report that I get to find out about peoples lives by talking to them, not finding out on FB or Insta. Never a day where I missed it. There is life on the other side of those apps. I promise.

Was blessed to spend some time with Brewers Coach Pat Murphy years ago. At the time, my son was in the craziness of recruiting, college visits, travel sports. I said
"What is the one thing we should focus on?"
"Just be good. If you're good, they'll find you."
Brilliant.
