For all of those waiting patiently for an update:
We have a recording, however we do not yet know if the sound quality is good enough for the livestreaming crew to produce viable content. They are working diligently to repair the audio.
We take full ownership of the livestreaming failure. At the end of the day, we are a student organization with very few resources that dared to do something bold. We had so many things that went well and it’s a shame that the few things that went wrong had such a large impact on the viewing experience for the online audience.
Our whole team had been working on this event for months and regardless of the technical shortcomings, the students and attendees on-site had nothing but great things to say.
We apologise for all those who were excited to watch the livestream as we had envisioned it and we hope to be able to provide some kind of viable recording of the event.
For now, enjoy some of the highlights from the event!

Thank you to everyone who tuned into our Finnish Presidential Debate in English!
We apologize again for all of the technical issues we experienced, and we will be uploading a full recording of the debate in the coming days.
The moderated portion of the debate has now ended and we have moved onto the “Town Hall” portion, which will not be live streamed.
We thank everyone at home for their understanding of our situation. We keep moving forward!
We are aware of the many technical issues with the livestream. We apologize for the inconvenience once again, but as a silver lining we will be sharing a full recording of the debate for all that are interested.
Thank you for understanding. 🫶
