So 10,000-12,000 Aberdeen fans are coming down the road despite a ticket and train combo being over £100, all the supporters buses being booked up, many of the views behind that goal being poor, and the venue being nowhere near their city? Brilliant support as ever.
Likely scenario based on current semi final ticket sales. 🤢 Go if you can. #RedArmy

Breaking the rules, or just good team work? Scotland's netball team got competitive when doctors Jazmine Moore and Rachel Conway took on accountants Bethan Goodwin and Niamh McCall in the water cup challenge. #bbcnetball

It’s world suicide prevention day a day that means a lot to me. Prior to radio I worked in mental health but also have my own story of thoughts of suicide. I proudly share that story in hope that it can bring comfort to anyone struggling and show that things can get better.

Had a lovely chat with Moira on Friday as she was rehearsing for the closing ceremony.
The 96-year-old volunteer who still goes clubbing 💃 Moira Cross was a friendly face at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, and she already plans to work at the 2028 LA Olympics. #CommonwealthGames

The closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games will fall on the 10th anniversary of Hope Gordon having her left leg amputated. On Friday, she fulfilled a dream of competing for Team Scotland, in the shadow of Yorkhill Children's Hospital where she spent much of her childhood.

Did a very good job to get Scotland to three finals. However, this feels like the right time. The reaction has been far more negative than after the previous Euros exits. I think that would have carried on into qualifying for Euro 2028. Would have been difficult for him.
The most-capped Scotland Men’s National Team Head Coach. The first Head Coach to lead Scotland to three major tournaments. Led our return to the World Cup after 28 years. Thank you, Steve 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

In his defence, don't think all the criticism from the World Cup was justified. Yeah, was a bit negative in his tactics, but ultimately he was some poor refereeing and daft defensive mistakes away from the last 32. Also think the Haiti win deserved more credit.

Probably in my top five Aberdeen captains of all time. Loved watching him get in the faces of every opponent, whether they were bigger than him or not.
Graeme Shinnie will leave Aberdeen next month upon the expiry of his contract, bringing to a close one of the most memorable modern-day careers in the Club’s recent history. Thank you, Graeme ❤️ 🔗 bit.ly/4dqYhQk

I jinxed him by posting this and he'll likely never score at Dens Park again.
Might be wrong, but I make it Kevin Nisbet has scored in every game he's played at Dens Park (three for Aberdeen, one for Dunfermline).

Controversial perhaps, but I actually prefer Dalglish's goal here. That first touch, the turn, moves it from the right foot to the left, and then the finish. 👌 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Gemmill's is pretty decent too though...
So many watershed moments, but only one can be the greatest. We're asking you to choose the most iconic goal scored by the Scotland men's national team. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ⚽️ This week.. Archie Gemmill v Netherlands in 1978? Or Kenny Dalglish v Belgium in 1982? Vote at the link below ⤵️

I'm never confident in my stats, but I *think* that's the first time Celtic have lost two cup finals in the same calendar year since 1984? (Also a Scottish Cup final defeat to Aberdeen that year).
