After Barcelona beat Juventus 2–0 in Turin on October 28, 2020, Barça’s official account posted a picture of Messi with the message basically saying: “Glad you got to see the GOAT on your pitch.”
Juventus replied with a warning: wrong dictionary we’ll bring you the right one to Camp Nou.
Then December 8 came.
Camp Nou.
Ronaldo was back.
Juventus won 3–0.
Ronaldo scored twice.
And after the final whistle, Juventus went back to that old exchange and delivered the line:
“We kept our word: we brought it.”
That is what makes the story crazy. 😂
Barça started the conversation with a GOAT tweet.
Juve answered with a promise.
Ronaldo showed up at Camp Nou and put two goals behind the conversation.
Then Juventus came back to the SAME tweet and closed the chapter.
That wasn’t just banter anymore.
The tweet had become a receipt.
And the funniest part?
The original Barcelona tweet was supposed to celebrate Messi.
Months later, people were talking about it because Ronaldo had just walked into Camp Nou, scored twice and helped Juventus win 3–0.
Sometimes football doesn’t need a long argument.

🇹🇷🇵🇸 Konyaspor fans covered the pitch in stuffed toys for Palestinian children in Gaza.
The toys came raining down in the middle of the friendly between Turkey and Palestine, played under the banner “Our Home is Your Home.”
The lights also went out to remember members of the Palestinian sports community killed since October 2023.
Then at 89:59, with the score 2-2, the game stopped.
They announced the match would only resume when Palestine is free.
For the children those toys were meant for, hopefully better days come soon.
