WK

Old friends are the best friends. Jensen rocks. The Star Mind computer being co-engineered by SpaceX and Nvidia is far better than almost anyone expects and will reach volume production next year. Working with the incredibly talented Nvidia engineering team is pure joy!
Jensen Huang says he loves working with Elon Musk, and reveals their engineering teams are designing a new type of server to put data centers in space “I’m delighted that I love working with Elon. He’s using our technology for his own AI in training models and such, deploying models, of course." "Grok Bot is super cool. The demand for Grok Bot, the consumption for Grok Bot is really skyrocketing. And then, of course, he rents it." "And so the combination of these three things, he’s fairly unique in doing that. I guess Google does that. That would be yet another example." "And so I think he also has the advantage that he loves the intersection between computing and the physical buildouts. He loves that whole area. Nobody knows more about energy than he does." "One particular new market that we’re going to go explore together is putting data centers out in space. Our two engineering teams are working super closely together to create a new type of server, a new type of architecture that might be super good in space and on Earth.”

FOODS THAT YOU ARE EATING THE WRONG WAY! 1. GARLIC - chopping and immediately cooking kills allicin completely, crush it and wait 10 minutes before any heat touches it 2. TOMATOES - eating raw gives minimal lycopene, cooking in olive oil increases absorption by 300 percent into your bloodstream 3. SPINACH - eating raw blocks iron absorption entirely, lightly steaming deactivates oxalic acid unlocking full mineral content 4. TURMERIC - eating alone absorbs at less than 5 percent, combining with black pepper increases absorption by 2000 percent instantly 5. BROCCOLI - boiling destroys 77 percent of sulforaphane, eat raw or steam maximum 4 minutes to preserve cancer fighting compounds 6. CARROTS - eating raw releases minimal beta carotene, cooking and adding fat multiplies absorption into cells dramatically 7. EGGS - cooking on high heat oxidizes cholesterol, low and slow preserves nutrients that high heat destroys in minutes 8. FLAXSEEDS - eating whole passes through undigested completely, grinding immediately before eating is the only way to access omega 3 9. BERRIES - eating alone spikes and crashes blood sugar, combining with protein or fat slows glucose release completely 10. GREEN TEA - brewing with boiling water burns catechins destroying EGCG, 80 degrees celsius is the maximum temperature ever 11. BEANS - eating without soaking keeps lectins intact causing gut inflammation and blocking nutrient absorption simultaneously 12. LEMON - squeezing into hot water destroys vitamin C entirely, always add to warm or cold water only never boiling

The EU swore its digital ID wallet would be voluntary. The law says so in writing. Regulation 2024/1183 promises that people who refuse the wallet will not be restricted or disadvantaged in any way. Now the EU’s anti-money laundering authority has told banks to use electronic ID “wherever possible.” Video checks and selfie verification are still allowed, but only as an exception. Any bank that onboards you without the wallet has to justify that choice to its supervisor and keep the images, video, and audio on file for later inspection. Customers who use the wallet need no further checks. Customers who don’t become paperwork, liability, and a conversation with a regulator. Banks can do that math. Nobody is being forced to use the wallet. Your bank is simply being given every reason to make sure you do. The wallet is voluntary in the same way a bank account is. reclaimthenet.org/eu-eudi-wa…

Is Bluetooth really off when you turn it off? NO. On both Android and iPhone, turning Bluetooth off from the quick settings panel only disables connections to whatever you're connected to. but background scanning continues. Android has a separate setting called Bluetooth scanning buried in Location settings. even with Bluetooth toggled off, this setting keeps the radio scanning for nearby devices to improve location accuracy, it feeds data to Google. the Android 15 code explicitly says: "Apps and services can still scan for nearby devices at any time, even when Bluetooth is off." to actually stop Bluetooth scanning on Android: Settings → Location → Location Services → Bluetooth scanning → OFF iPhone is similar, the Find My network uses Bluetooth passively even when it appears off. iPhone 11 and later can ping the Find My network for 24 hours after being powered off entirely, unless you disable it before shutdown.

Is Bluetooth is off, is the Bluetooth tracking still on? Same for location services - is off off for everything?

There's a device police use that makes your phone think it's a cell tower. you've probably driven past one. it's called a Stingray. technically: a cell site simulator or IMSI catcher, about the size of a suitcase. fits in a police car or a van. Your phone is constantly scanning for the strongest signal and automatically connects to whatever tower looks most legitimate. the Stingray broadcasts a stronger signal than the real towers nearby. Your phone drops the real tower and connects to it instead. but now your phone is talking to the cop car before it reaches the real network. what the Stingray collects in that moment: — your IMSI — a unique identifier tied to your SIM card — your IMEI — the unique identifier of the physical device — your precise location — in some models: calls, texts, and data content it does this to every phone in range. not just suspects. everyone driving by. over 75 federal agencies use them. hundreds of local police departments. they've been deployed at protests, immigration operations, and political events. an IMSI catcher was detected at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Annapolis Police used one to investigate a robbery involving $56 worth of submarine sandwiches and chicken wings. no warrant required in many jurisdictions, the legal framework is still being fought over. the EFF released a tool called Rayhunter. you can build it for $20 using a cheap WiFi hotspot. It monitors your cell connection and turns red if it detects a simulator. other names you might see: Hailstorm. KingFish. Gossamer. Amberjack. all cell site simulators. all do the same thing.

If you care deeply about your phone privacy you shouldn't be using Android GrapheneOS and iOS are better.

The U.S. will experience an economic recession if a moratorium against data centers is established, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink opined. He argued the buildout of the controversial facilities is “not the problem” as Americans have grown more negative about data centers and their impacts.
