Her brows knitted together, lip curled in disgust. "I'm always ready."

“You’re probably planning on killing it in front of someone.”

“Uh. Sure..?” She wasn’t sure how to respond in these situations.

“You’re not wrong.”

“Like I believe that.”

"He's a special kind of sleaze, like a virus. Just be careful. I'll be alright." Her shoulders rose and fell. "I wouldn't mind chatting again." Not like she kept many friends.

"He's a monster."

"Thanks, girly. But I won't endanger anyone that doesn't need to be..."

Her single eye would slightly widen when realizing the other's presence, the woman's grasp snatching the handle of her katana. Out of instinct, Rose quickly swung her blade back as her body spinned to face behind her. She was never the best at greetings.

"You don't know him like I do. I would love to see that, though."

She probably would've tried anyways. A challenge is always fun.

The other female managed to pull a genuinely amused half smile from Rose. "Love the song, but won't work with him."

He seems like the kind of person that would've been a high priced contract.

A wry chuckle escaped her. "Yeah, I've been dealing with him for years. Nothing surprises me anymore. See him as an active grenade, never let your guard down or get overconfident."

"You shouldn't trust my father near a sandwich, God knows what he'd put it in."
