I’m so sick of this “storyline.”
She’s been at practices and on the sidelines on game days for years.
She’s getting a better understanding of the good, bad, and ugly associated with HER team than perhaps any other owner.
Also: You can’t be meddling if you’re not … meddling.
People are mocking @_willcompton for this, but it must be noted: he returned from this devastating injury to record a career-high 15 tackles. Heroic.
(Zach Ertz also literally had 15 receptions in this game, but that’s not on Will.)
INJURY UPDATE: LB Will Compton, who had the wind knocked out of him, will return. #PHIvsWAS
I keep coming across these random Peyton facts/highlights and I can’t get over how good the offensive line was.
I’ve got two Adam Vinatieri anecdotes, both indicative of who he is.
First, as a member of the content/media department for the Colts, we were blessed to receive some team gear each season — polos, hats, shorts, shoes. Real nice. Still wear em!
Adam got the personal cell phone numbers of all the main local media members who cover the team. He bought a poster board and printed out the names and numbers of those media members and placed it behind his locker, so every time he did interviews, that info was in full view 😂
Add Jack Doyle in this list, too.

Also deserving, but team success would’ve helped pad résumé:
• Anthony Castonzo (most underrated left tackle of his time)
• Kenny Moore II (great production AND beloved in community)
• DeForest Buckner (can still change, obviously)
My unofficial, but perfect, list, in order, of next Colts Ring of Honor members:
• Bob Sanders
• Ryan Diem
• Pete Ward
• T.Y. Hilton
• Andrew Luck
• Shaquille Leonard
• Quenton Nelson
• Jonathan Taylor

“What lights you up? What is burning inside of you?”
@RealHughJackman shared a powerful message of purpose with Ball State’s Class of 2026 as we conferred approximately 2,800 degrees before about 7,500 attendees.

I call BS.
I made $30K as an “associate writer” for an NFL franchise near our nation’s capital. When I moved up to what amounted to an “editor” role — lead team writer, constant website updates, editor of team magazine, on-air duties, manager of content team …(more)
Allow me to provide a swift dose of reality to this discourse...
The Chargers social job isn't underpaying anyone. A thousand people probably applied for this role. It's a calculated bet and it's asking if the right person will bet on themselves.
12 to 24 months. That's how long the person will be in this role. Go in get reps inside one of the best operations in the league, and come out the other side as a director-level candidate with a resume line that carries weight in every room.
I want everyone in this industry to make as much money as possible. But salaries are decided by the market. Entry level at a pro sports team in a high-demand creative role has always been competitive for a reason.
A harsh reality... It's market rate for what the role actually is... a starting point to launch a career.
Show up, absorb everything, and leave better than you came. Whoever gets the job could likely be a Director of Social in professional sports in less than 5 years and much of that would've been accelerated by getting this role.
