As Adults, we are often sensitive about our weaknesses, so imagine a child who spends all day at school where their weaknesses are the focus and their strengths aren't developed or even recognized.

I remember a student of mine that struggled with reading and disliked it. We found a book on a topic he really liked and anytime we had SSR, he was into it! When he finished reading the book, he told me that was the 1st book he had finished in a long time! #Empowered #nisdedchat
