Last week, we headed to The Emergency Services Show 2026 - because apparently exhibiting at #ESS2026 and running an ATACC course in the same week wasn’t enough! We must be mad… 😂 We were proud to showcase our Resuscitator Series, exploring how we can improve cardiac arrest outcomes for every individual patient, optimise resuscitation within current guidelines and work towards true mastery of life support - before looking beyond it. The first EVER UK trauma course designed specifically for nurses caring for children, NTACC Paediatrics equips candidates with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to manage complex paediatric trauma emergencies. 🚣 ATACC Group is proud to sponsor the British Army Force Atlantic Row 2026 rowing team. As part of our support, we recently put the crew through OCEAN - a bespoke four-day Ocean Rowing Medical Course, accredited by the ATACC Group and the Royal College of Surgeons. The course was designed around one of ATACC’s core principles: training for reality. Over four highly immersive days, the crew were challenged with realistic medical emergencies in the context of an unsupported Atlantic crossing. Training tested not only individual clinical skills, but also the team’s medical SOPs, decision-making, equipment, communication and ability to manage casualties when definitive medical care may be days away. The programme drew on the experience of instructors who have completed the Atlantic row themselves, alongside faculty with extensive backgrounds in austere and remote medicine. This allowed the training to reflect the genuine challenges the crew may face at sea rather than simply delivering conventional medical training in an unfamiliar environment. We wish the entire crew the very best as their preparations continue. When you’re managing a deteriorating patient or cardiac arrest in the pre-hospital environment, you may be working with limited resources, challenging surroundings and a multidisciplinary team under significant pressure.
