Zelenskyy is the anti-Trump, a person of courage and principle who has stood in the face of overwhelming odds. Trump will never be him. Trump can only envy and resent the respect that Zelenskyy has earned.
"I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president," President Trump said Saturday, slamming Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for targeting Russian diesel refineries after Trump made a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin to supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel.
"He can do whatever he wants, but he can't do that because we have a world problem," Trump said. "And the problem is caused by the lack of refineries for diesel fuel... He'd better damn well stop."

He's one of the most brazen liars we've ever seen.
Trump on 9/11: "I just thank my people. I was building a big building in New York and I took the whole crew down there right after this happened and they had no hesitation. Everybody went down with me. We went down as a big group of people ... we thought it was coming down on top of us ... two fireman lifted me up and started running with me"

Amazing how people who post here constantly clammed up about this:

An active-duty military officer (whose only job, apparently, is to be an online partisan) is asking the owner of a newspaper to censor his news and fire his reporters, as if we're living in some mid-century, third-world junta.
Jeff Bezos @JeffBezos , I’m asking you to look at this once through the eyes of the people wearing the uniform since you own @washingtonpost.
We volunteered and accepted the bargain. Missed birthdays, broken bodies, years away from our families, hostile fire, and the possibility that if we die, our families get roughly $500,000 in life insurance. In much of America today, that barely buys a house.
We know our lot and we’re not complaining about it.
But the job is hard enough without having to wonder whether an American newspaper is going to publish classified wartime command deliberations because its newsroom despises the administration and wants another cheap political scalp.
Fight the President, the Secretary, the Pentagon. Whatever, that’s politics.
But when the ammunition for that fight is information tied to ongoing operations and the private judgments of senior commanders, you’re spending our risk to buy your headline.
That’s the part WE need you to understand.
Murphy already gets a vote. So does the enemy. Exhaustion, bad intelligence, mechanical failure and plain rotten luck all get votes. We volunteered to face those things.
We did NOT volunteer to become collateral damage in the Washington Post’s feud with an administration it hates.
Your reporters will publish the piece, watch the engagement numbers, and go home.
Some American kid will still be standing watch when they do.
Jeff, give us a fucking chance. Come on man. You’ve got to clean house at that paper. The journalists are too blackpilled to be of any use anymore. In fact, they’re literally harming us.
Our brothers and sisters are in a worse situation now due to this reporting. Don’t agree with the combat operations, fine. But come on. Leaking an SDOB? That’s objectively insane behavior.

Indiana @AGToddRokita posed with Royce White at Friday's Fever game and posted the photo himself. In February a Minnesota judge found White liable for domestic abuse and barred him from contacting his ex-wife for 50 years. Some questions for the AG:

An ego so fragile that the removal had to be hidden behind a curtain.
FOOTAGE OF THE LETTERS BEING REMOVED
The irony of the Trump administration claiming to be the most transparent in history is never lost on me. Kennedy Center Workers used a tarp so cameras couldn’t see the removal.
It’s like playing hide-and-seek with a toddler: if they can’t see you, they think you can’t see them.
A huge thank you to @RepBeatty. This would not have been possible without her persistence and hard work.

It’s hard to imagine a greater irony: a celebration of the American Founding—whose entire purpose was rejecting kings, personality cults, and leader worship—being transformed into a vanity project for one man. The Founders fought a war to escape this kind of politics.

If you hated the hero worship around Obama—as I did—then I don't understand making excuses for a president putting his face on buildings, currency, and passports.
Private individuals making a politician a personality trait is unhealthy. Forcing the public to do so is grotesque.
George Washington actively opposed the U.S. Mint putting his face on coinage, as it would've resembled the reverence reserved for monarchs. reason.com/2026/05/29/trumps…

America’s 250th anniversary is supposed to celebrate the rejection of kings. Putting a living president’s face on a vanity $250 bill is exactly the kind of cult nonsense the Founders despised.
Breaking news: Trump administration officials have pressed the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 bill featuring the president’s portrait, in what would be the first appearance of a living person on U.S. currency in more than 150 years. wapo.st/4dQNsGj

Indiana Gov. Mike Braun wants to eliminate property taxes for seniors and those who have paid off their mortgage.
This is the same state government that removed tax relief for first time homeowners in a property tax bill last year because it would have allegedly harmed local schools.
Yet under this proposal, Braun would pay zero dollars in property taxes on his huge, nearly 10,000 square foot home with hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer-funded improvements.
The hypocrisy & hatred of young adults here is insane.
It’s incredibly anti-family.

Jesus never fused his name and his relationship with God to an earthly nation. Caesar did that.
The Caesars of our time are doing the same, but with Jesus’ name.
That’s what it looks like to take Jesus’ name in vain.

Evangelical Christian leaders literally gathering around a gold statue of the president and celebrating it, all while raging against any accusation of idolatry.
This is what idol worship looks like.
Adam Staten retweeted
Let’s be clear, this is absolutely idol worship.
I don’t need to convince you though. By this tweet i can tell it bothers you.
It should
One of the greatest honors of my life was leading the dedication of President Donald J. Trump’s statue to the world.
What amazes me is how quickly some people have compared this beautiful statue, created and made possible by more than 6,000 patriots, to a golden calf or idol worship.
Let me be very clear.
We worship the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone.
The Word of God says, “You shall have no other gods before Me.” Exodus 20:3.
It also says, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.” Matthew 4:10.
That is the line.
Honor is not worship.
Respect is not idolatry.
Celebration is not bowing down to a false god.
Romans 13:7 says, “Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.”
Giving honor where honor is due is biblical.
Bowing down and worshipping an idol is sinful.
There is a major difference.
This statue was not created for worship. It was created as a symbol of resilience, patriotism, courage, and gratitude. It was created to honor a man whom many may disagree with, but millions of Americans believe has done extraordinary things to make this nation stronger.
People celebrate athletes, musicians, entertainers, and cultural icons while they are still alive. Michael Jordan has a statue in Chicago. Cristiano Ronaldo, Taylor Swift, Shakira, Ed Sheeran, and many others have been honored publicly in different ways. Yet Christians were not screaming “golden calf” over those moments.
So why now?
You may dislike President Trump. That is your choice.
But you are in gross error if you think for one second that I worship this magnificent statue or anything made by human hands.
Acts 17:24 says, “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.”
My worship belongs to God.
My gratitude can still honor people.
My faith is in Christ.
My respect for a leader does not replace my reverence for the Lord.
Before you judge, condemn, or spread false accusations, use spiritual discernment.
1 John 4:1 says, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God.”
Some of you know the voice of the Holy Spirit. Listen to that voice before you give room to the devil through lies, slander, and false judgment.
Ephesians 4:27 says, “Nor give place to the devil.”
We can disagree politically and still tell the truth spiritually.
This was not idol worship.
This was honor.
This was gratitude.
This was patriotism.
And above all, Jesus Christ is still Lord.
