Seems that we have a new press secretary who claims to be a Chinese lawyer. Fits right in with Trump's love of authoritarian dictators.
What are the news outlets supposed to report if they are banned from reporting lies? Trump's coverage would become nonexistent.
Hard to imagine, but I'm listening to Thomas Massie's likely last floor speech in Congress, and being mightily impressed by the common sense he is advancing. The House and Senate need more free-thinkers advocating for democracy. Hopefully more of them will advocate actions that benefit American citizens who need help and not those who can pay for it.
Missouri has become a captive of Trump's MAGA. Our Secretary of State delayed, for no reason, a decision on the validity of the citizen referendum rejecting Trump's redistricting command, and then claims it is too late practically to abide by the law. It was a bald try to circumvent the law. And now our Attorney General runs to a Federal court to try to overturn a decision of the Missouri Supreme Court. Her duty is to defend Missouri law as interpreted by the Supreme Court. She is driven purely by partisan zeal. She should be impeached. Haskins should be impeached. Keogh should be impeached. But the MAGAts will simply follow them like lemmings, over the cliff, at the next election.
I get new reports every month about how my personal data has been hacked. Every Tom, Dick and Harry on the dark web knows everything about me. Of course the Chinese government and its paid hackers have all that info. But they can't cast a ballot in my name.
Since a Republican, Steve Hilton, won a spot on the California governor's ballot, doesn't that mean that the election was rigged by the Republicans?

But the Prodigal Son came home humble.
You spent years helping burn the house down.
And now you’re politically homeless:

too eager to defend them for the people you abandoned.

Why does the Speaker of the House have the unfettered power to simply refuse to bring a bill, passed by the Senate, to a vote in the House? Seems like a bill passed by the other house should be entitled to an up or down vote and not simply ignored. Vote it down - vote it into law - or vote it down and amend it if you wish and send it back. But at least vote on it.
Why does our President feel the need to lie about things that are so easily refuted? Does he not remember the truth? Does he not care? Has he been doing it for so long without consequences that he thinks he is immune? Recent examples: We didn't know about Israel bombing Iranian gas fields. A former U.S. President said he wished he had done this.
