A few days since the Olympiad ended. A couple of days back home.
As always, an amazing experience: good games, bad games, good moves, terrible mistakes, and a lot to work on.
10th Olympiad. Will there be an 11th? We’ll see! – at Kyrgyzstan
How many times have I said: don’t go to the closing ceremony. Maybe the opening ceremony too.
22:29. We’ve been sitting on the bus for an hour. I’m hungry, I’m tired, we were freezing outside during the closing ceremony, and we still have another hour to get to the hotel.
Fun. – at Uzbekistan

Final day of the Chess Olympiad ♟️
Yesterday we lost to Turkmenistan 0–4, so my tournament is over.
Today I’m just enjoying the final day, watching the games, meeting people and taking in the atmosphere.
Closing ceremony tonight, and then it’s time to go home 🤍 – at Tajikistan
Round 9 was a tough one. We lost to Croatia 0–4.
I’m very unhappy with my own game and made a series of bad decisions after the opening.
Only 2 rounds left. Today we play Turkmenistan. Still fighting until the end.
Catching up on the last 2 rounds at the Olympiad ♟️
Round 7: we lost to the Philippines 0.5–3.5. I lost my game against a WGM, but I was actually quite pleased with the quality of my play.
Round 8: big win against Denmark, 3.5–0.5! I won with Black and really liked my game.

Day 6 at the Chess Olympiad ♟️🇺🇿
A very important team win against Norway, 2.5–1.5!
I drew the last game of the match, and that half point was enough to secure the win.
A long and complicated game, lots of nerves, but happy to contribute to the team result! ☺️
Day 5 at the Olympiad 🇺🇿♟️
Yesterday we lost to Belarus 🇧🇾 0.5–3.5. I lost my game too after mixing something up in the opening. Not the result I wanted, but time to move on.
Today we play Norway 🇳🇴, and tonight there’s a Bermuda Party. Tomorrow is a rest day! – at Uzbekistan
Day 4 at the Olympiad 🇺🇿♟️
Yesterday our women’s team beat Uzbekistan 2 🇺🇿 3–1. I was resting, but today I’m back in the lineup, playing Board 2 against Belarus 🇧🇾
Strong opponents today. Please wish me luck! 🙃🇰🇬♟️ – at Uzbekistan
Round 3 at the Olympiad 🇺🇿
After a close 1.5–2.5 loss to Latvia in Round 2, we bounced back with a 4–0 win over Ghana 🇬🇭
I returned to the lineup and, as usual, was the last to finish. Almost 5 hours, but I was happy with my game!
Today I’m resting again. The girls face UZB 2.
Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 4–0 Bhutan 🇧🇹
I was the last one to finish, so my win made it 4–0 for the team.
It definitely wasn’t an easy game. My opponent made me work for it, but in the end I managed to win.
A good start to the Olympiad! ♟️#ChessOlympiad #Samarkand #chess – at Uzbekistan
