The unstoppable force (mass migration) reaches the immovable object (environmental legislation)
Piddington village is suing the Home Office, alleging it acted unlawfully by failing to consider the threat a new asylum camp could pose to wildlife.

Growing up in Oldham, in sixth form we would go to the pub during free periods as they wouldn’t really care about our age and we could have a pint or two.
There would always be a Pakistani couples sheepishly sat in the corner drinking cokes and kissing or cuddling. I asked why once and was told that it’s because all of the taxi drivers in the town are Pakistani, they all talk to eachother, they all know eachother, they all see eachother every day at the mosques. If a girl was seen walking around or holding hands with ‘so and so’s cousin’ it could cause an outrage or some clan conflict and so they would go to the places in town they knew they wouldn’t be caught/seen.
It isn’t surprising at all that these taxi networks are being used to facilitate abuse, this is well known. But it needs to be acknowledged that if a few of them know, all of them know. Every driver, every family.

In April 2016, Manchester Crown Court sentenced nine men for abusing eight girls and young women around Rochdale between 2005 - 2013.
One 15 yr old was sold for sex by David Law to Afraz Ahmed for a few bags of heroin. A bus driver, Afraz Ahmed, propositioned two 13 yr old schoolgirls on his route. Gang members utilised the local taxi network to identify and capture vulnerable young girls. Another man, Mohammed Furuz Miah, kept alcohol, cigarettes and hair straighteners in his boot, which the judge called a kit to get vulnerable girls into his car.

We’re desensitised to this perhaps. We get these horror stories every week now. But really zoom in and try and imagine how helpless and hopeless this poor girl was feeling here. How her parents must have felt finding her like that. Her father, the shame, the weight of failure

In July 2021, Leeds CC sentenced three men for abusing a girl in Huddersfield in the 90s, starting when she was 12. Banaras Hussain, who was married at the time, first raped the girl on a mattress in a rented house, he told the court that they had sex up to four times a week. His friend Mohammed Akram, who supplied her with drugs, raped her in her parents’ house while they were asleep in the next room.
On the first night he met the girl, a third man, Talish Ahmed, raped her in a car at a reservoir while a taxi driver watched. He then left her at the roadside with her trousers and underwear round her ankles, unable to walk, she was later found there by her parents.

Another 10 transcripts of grooming gang sentencing remarks I’ve worked through today.
The details are horrific. I’ve already had to step away, mindful of my own trauma and limits.
Behind every transcript are victims who suffered horrific sexual abuse. Their suffering must never be forgotten
The result of this “research” is always ‘we need more money for charities’ and the civil servants at their makework jobs are all too happy to acquiesce. One big parasitic human centipede, hundreds of thousands of people are employed at our expense like this
£687,758 taxpayer funding for "Child Protection in Pakistani Communities"
"Cross cutting knowledge will be used to develop further research in the UK on the subject. The city of Bradford has the largest proportion of people of Pakistani ethnic origin (20.3%) in England, making the region an appropriate space for this work to be developed within a UK context. The University of Bradford's Division of Social Work is connected to Bradford Social Services through partnership arrangements. Therefore, working together with the Local Authority, further research within the community alongside the learning from Pakistan will provide opportunities to develop best practice guidelines and responses to issues relating to the abuse of children who are from a Pakistani background." gtr.ukri.org/projects?ref=MR…

EXCLUSIVE: Leaked Home Office counter-terrorism documents link “nostalgia for traditionalism” and fears over immigration, liberalism and multiculturalism to “Christian extremism”.
Officials propose working with churches to promote “theological resilience” against the use of Christian teachings to justify hatred or violence.
I obtained dozens of pages from RICU’s report on “Christian extremism”. Among the findings:
• Images of happy families in wartime, peaceful countryside and classical statues are described as a “hook” towards an extremist worldview.
• Tommy Robinson’s rallies and a Christmas carol concert come under scrutiny, alongside Christian fitness groups.
• “Bob from Speakers’ Corner” features, despite RICU identifying no extremist content from him.
Yet the report acknowledges that the threat of violence from Christian extremists remains “low”.
Jeremiah Igunnubole, UK legal counsel for ADF, says the report “suggests an institutional anti-Christian bias has taken hold in the Home Office”.

It's useful to see a case in which two defendants were charged with racially aggravated assault - something the CPS hardly pursue in grooming gang cases, even though there are an overwhelming number where they can
There’s something quite endearing about seeing people tweet like this. Catch and punish people that push through barriers? In a country where theft has been decriminalised & rape is punished with a fine. Posting from a country that no longer exists

Thames Valley Police are now one of the biggest threats facing local children:
"They decided, without investigating, that she could not be relied upon, and told her there would be no prosecution unless she could produce a witness or forensic evidence. Her teacher, who attended the meeting, felt that she was being advised to be sexually assaulted again to obtain evidence."
This child was 13 years old. The whole force needs to be dismantled and rebuilt from scratch.

In June 2017, Reading CC sentenced four men for abusing a girl in High Wycombe between 1998 and 2002, starting when she was 13. She was in care and truanting when she was first taken to a café, where she was given heroin and passed between men in exchange for drugs.
Later, a taxi driver, Berkley John, would collect her from school, telling staff he was taking her to a medical appointment, and drive her to his firm’s office, where she was raped by his boss, Mohammed Aslam. She went to the police in 2001 and 2002. They decided, without investigating, that she could not be relied upon, and told her there would be no prosecution unless she could produce a witness or forensic evidence. Her teacher, who attended the meeting, felt that she was being advised to be sexually assaulted again to obtain evidence. The police only returned to the case in 2013, after a cold case review.

I really do encourage people to read these. Some of the most complex published so far. A girl with an IQ of 67 is raped in a park, in mitigation the judge has to consider that his ‘family have been affected, and your relationship has ended as a result of your convictions’
I added a little ribbon to the cards on the site with the new cases for easy navigation. Will swap them out when we publish the next tranche. You can find them here:

We just published 10 new transcripts, these have been some of the most difficult to get, & turn out to be some of the most shocking cases yet —including police refusing to investigate an allegation. Her teacher and judge both agree they were asking her to get raped again

🧵 Today the Centre for Justice Policy is publishing 10 new grooming gang sentencing remarks from Rochdale, Huddersfield, Rotherham, High Wycombe, Nottingham and Chelmsford.
Some had no reporters in the room, and coverage of the rest missed much of what the judges said.
Maybe building our entire economy around services wasn’t a good idea. But at least we can pivot to physical AI in manufacturing & data centre buildout with our cheap energy and permissive planning system
