Thanks to #Akazi, 30 Malawian healthcare workers have received breast health training for the first time in their careers.
This will enable them to identify women with potential breast cancer at the earliest possible stage, reducing the time taken for diagnosis and ensuring they are placed on the care pathway without delay.

The #Akazi project has provided 15 Malawian healthcare workers with breast health training for the first time in their careers. In total, 45 workers from eight different health centres have received training this year.
This will considerably help efforts to identify breast cancer and reduce diagnosis times.
