Caesars Entertainment shareholders approved Tilman Fertitta's $17.6 billion buyout yesterday.
He gets Caesars Palace, Paris, Flamingo, Horseshoe, Harrah's, Planet Hollywood and The Linq.
Add his Golden Nuggets and he'll control about 60 casinos nationwide.
Rumors that Fertitta plans to bring back 50-cent shrimp cocktails, free parking, and holes in the desert remain unconfirmed.

On this day in 2013, walk-on true freshman Baker Mayfield made his first career start and led Texas Tech to a 41-23 win over SMU. Mayfield threw for 413 yards and four touchdowns, ran for another and completed 43 passes, the most ever by a Red Raider quarterback in his first start. The game also marked Kliff Kingsbury’s head-coaching debut at Texas Tech

What are Scottie Scheffler’s thoughts on playing with Ludvig Aberg?
“He's an easy guy to get paired with. He's a really nice guy. He's a great competitor, good player as well. He's always very easy to be on the golf course with. It's pretty simple to be paired with him.”
Ludvig repaid the compliment when asked about playing with Scottie:
“I think the main thing that I think about when you're playing with Scottie is you're going to see a lot of good golf, which definitely helps. It's nice to see good shots. It puts some nice pictures in your mind.
“We get along great, and I enjoy playing with him. Obviously most of the time he's playing good golf. Any time you play with him, it's a good thing. Hopefully we can do that more.”

Ludvig Aberg rates his 2026 season as a B- but says it would be an A if he were to win the Tour Championship and the FedExCup this week at East Lake:
“I thought there's probably a few things missing, I think, from my 2026 season, but I've definitely seen a lot of improvements. I've seen some nice things in my game. I feel like statistically I've improved a lot, and I feel like a lot of those experiences I've had have helped me a lot going forward.
“Definitely for it to become an A, I probably would have liked a trophy or two at home.”
Ludvig is currently T7 after rounds of 65 and 68 to sit 3 shots off the lead heading into the weekend.
Ludvig also said that after the PGA Tour season concludes, he’ll be playing at Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship and the French Open, plus the DP World Tour playoffs if he can qualify.

Two women. Six days apart. Same ride. Both needed emergency brain surgery after riding Six Flags Magic Mountain’s X2 coaster. Pamela Guillen spent two weeks in a coma relearning how to walk and talk. Naomi Greer-Wilkinson is still in a coma on a ventilator right now. This ride has been linked to over a dozen serious injuries and two deaths since 2002 - and it stayed open the whole time.
Her father said it best: whoever kept this ride running after years of warnings has a lot to answer for. It’s been closed since July, no explanation from Six Flags. Would you ever get on this ride knowing what we know now?
