It was great to see Footprints 2 Africa - a volunteer-led charity that collects surplus bowel and bladder supplies across the UK, preventing valuable medical stock from going to waste - joining us at #ASCNUK26 earlier this week.

The "From Conversation to Empowerment: Improving the Patient Experience in Stoma Care" session at #ASCNUK26 explored how open, informed and person-centred conversations can improve the experience of people living with a stoma.

The final day of #ASCNUK26 is underway with the "From Variation to Standardisation: Advancing Urostomy and Urology Practice" session - covering ketamine uropathy, ureteric stent removal, nephrostomy care and peristomal skin integrity.

Our final session of today "From Policy to Practice: Shaping Consistent and Patient-Centred Stoma Services" explored how policy, service development and patient experience can shape more consistent, patient-centred stoma care. #ASCNUK26

The "From Strategy to Practice: Advancing Stoma Care Through Leadership and Collaboration" session at #ASCNUK26 explored how leadership, governance and collaborative working are driving innovation and improvement across stoma care services.

A busy day so far at #ASCNUK26 of engaging sessions, Symposiums, networking and the ASCNUK AGM, bringing delegates together to connect, share experiences and catch up with colleagues across the stoma care community. And there’s still plenty more to come...
