On the one hand, it really is crappy, unChristian behavior to dunk on someone who's going through a rough patch. On the other hand, this guy spent years attacking others, diminishing the office he was elected to, demeaning those he was elected to serve, and chest-thumping about bad behavior from those he disagreed with politically. So I'm trying to contain my schadenfreude, but I don't feel too bad about it.

Hot take - family members who visit wards to see their grandchildren/nieces/nephews/etc in their primary programs should sit in the back of the chapel/the gym until all the immediate family members have gotten seated closer to the front. It’s insane that my only options (as someone with three kids in the program) are to show up 30 minutes early to save a seat or to sit in the back of the gym just because a handful of families had 16 aunts and uncles and grandparents and second cousins show up for the primary program.
Also - we should have taco carts outside the chapel after primary programs. And every Sunday.
Wow you’re telling me that Utah voters were far more excited to vote for the uber-competent, wildly successful Mormon who rescued the SLC Olympics and has 19 kids and 200 grandkids than they were to vote for the divorced adulterer who bragged about grabbing women by the pussy and who had bankrupted a casino and a branded steak company?! I don't have much emotional investment in Taylor Swift's relationships (although I'm unabashedly a fan of her music (fairly meh on LOAS though)). But the best, healthiest relationships that are the most likely to last aren't Shakespearean love stories or Victorian tragedies. The healthiest relationships feel simple (although this isn't to say that they don't require a lot of work!) and they make you and your life easier, happier, and more stable. Frankly, the most dysfunctional relationships are the easiest to write complex song lyrics about. TLDR version - the elementary level songs she's writing about Kelce are probably more a function of a healthy relationship than an indicator that their relationship isn't that meaningful.
