'Request Stop, Hampstead.' (c1950) Stephen Bone painted a world full of charm. His style went out of fashion for some years but is again gaining popularity. If you are wondering about the colour of the bus sign, white bus signs with a red circle indicated 'compulsory' stops.
βReform arenβt going anywhereβ For once Nadine is right, Reform arenβt going anywhere near government. #bbclaurak
Nigel Farage says he will fix most of the countryβs problems within 100 days of becoming Prime Minister so maybe he could tell us why heβs been unable to implement a decent vetting process for well over 2 years and counting.

Neither Cartier-Bresson, Banksy nor Cold War Steve could have come up with such an image. Absolutely perfect composition and lighting (even the road signs are perfect)! π
All the Reform guy has is whataboutery. The Reform Small Boat is sinking. #bbcqt
If I make up some populist rubbish that will never happen, will the BBC give me the same coverage as they give Reform? #bbcbreakfast

The BBC is already giving Nigel Farage coverage for a speech he hasnβt even delivered. Report on what he says tomorrow, by all means.
But previewing it now gives him free publicity and lets him set the agenda before anyone can scrutinise his words.

Reform UK are apparently going to send out an 8 page flyer to Β£15 million homes. Not that I'm suggesting that you send them back, so they have to pay for the return postage. But if you are, you might find this useful.

Same old Tory nonsense, same old Tory faces, Badenoch highlighting Chris Philp says it all. #politicslive

So Kemi Badenoch wants to pay for new prison cells by cutting Β£1bn from culture, media and sport?
That means youth clubs, leisure centres, sports pitches, arts projects and music venues, places that give young people somewhere to go and learn teamwork and self discipline, all of that: gone.
Thatβs not tough on crime, thatβs building a pipeline into the very prisons you're promising! And this from a party that added fewer than 500 prison places in a decade, and left communities like mine fighting to keep leisure centres open in the first place.
Disgraceful.
