Many young physicians are finding out today for the first time how much less complicated it was to take care of patients a decade ago.

CDK Global, a company that provides software for managing sales and other services to approximately 15,000 auto dealerships, is experiencing a cybersecurity incident. This outage has disrupted operations at numerous dealerships, causing them to halt crucial activities such as sales, service, and accounting. CDK has taken down most of its systems to protect its customers and is working to restore access to its core dealership management product and retailing solutions. The incident has been described as a major cyberattack that could potentially affect dealerships for days. cbsnews.com/amp/news/cdk-cyb…

This concussion business has been crazy. I'm technically still banned from screens, reading etc. I'm improving every day though.
Me: Gee, I wish I could take the rest of the day off Universe: on it *totals my car in an accident while running a quick errand at lunch* Me: not like that (I'm okay. A few new bruises and shaken nerves. Just not what I needed.)

Speaking to a European colleague: I've thought of coming to the US to work. What is it like working for an average US company, not a big one like ours? I told him. And he was horrified.

Yes. I've found something enjoyable in nearly all my tech jobs, and now I get to influence an entire organization. Even though I have my frustrations, I'm glad sec makes a difference, and I make one in the lives of the practitioners in my org.
This might sound dumb, but does anyone actually enjoy their job? I feel like I know so so SO many that hate theirs .

I'm bringing 3 young (18-20) women to DC this year. They have so many things they want to learn, and I'm up for encouraging them. Almost everyone who knows is afraid for their safety. Going as far as to say I should hire a bodyguard. Why can we make a safe environment instead?

Some of y’all didn’t read the hacker’s manifesto growing up and it shows - “We exist without skin color, without nationality, without religious bias...” 🤷🏻‍♂️ And I’ll add you honestly think without gender doesn’t belong in there? Ijs. Stop being sexist assholes - be curious
