A day in the life of an RTD Transit Police dispatcher presents many opportunities to make a positive difference for customers and agency operators. These dispatchers are skilled in deescalating a variety of situations prior to officers arriving on site.

Over the weekend, we bused the Green Line's four branches to allow for critical inspections of our central subway tunnel. Crews inspected structural, electrical, mechanical, fire, life, and safety systems for a comprehensive review of our infrastructure.

Over the past two weekends, we bused the Green Line to do rail upgrades on the historic Lechmere Viaduct. During these two diversions, we replaced, welded, & aligned 3,300+ feet of rail to improve conditions, which will allow us to increase speeds in this area.

🌈This is what we mean by Pride in Transit. Today, MBTA staff from our PRIDE Employee Resource Group and their families participated in @BP4TP's parade in honor of #PrideMonth. We applaud our team members for representing the T and the LGBTQ+ community this day and every day.

🌈Pride in transit.
Our system is represented by a rainbow of colors, just like our riders. We're proud to support our LGBTQ+ riders, employees, and communities and are here to take you to all the #PrideMonth celebrations and events this June.

Public transit and private conversations don't mix. Please do not use mobile or music devices without headphones, and avoid loud conversations in person and on the phone while on the T. Your fellow riders thank you.
