Terror designations for the Muslim Brotherhood is a serious policy question, and a Senate candidate whose family has alleged ties to the organization should be asked where he stands.
Recasting that question as an attack on his faith is an intential dodge, not an answer.

Today is a reminder of why the U.S.-Israel partnership matters for national security. The threats posed by Iran and its proxies like Hamas don't stop at Israel's borders. Shared intelligence and a joint defense make both nations safer. 2/3
Yesterday's bipartisan 262-159 House vote was an important step for more than Russia sanctions. The bill also includes a version of the Solidify Iran Sanctions Act, an effort @FDDAction has supported to ensure critical Iran sanctions authorities don't expire at the end of this year.
As @SenatorTimScott noted, preserving these authorities will help sustain economic pressure on Tehran.
More on why this matters👇🏼

In a fitting tribute to Lindsey Graham, the House has passed the Russia and Iran sanctions bill he championed.
It includes a version of my Solidify Iran Sanctions Act, extending key Iran sanctions authorities that will help enable Operation Economic Outcast and hold all our adversaries to account.
The bill now heads to @POTUS.

Where does Iran's sanctions-evasion economy live? This🧵maps the ecosystem of Iran's sanctions evasion, hub by hub:
Of 926 companies running trade and procurement for Iran and designated by @USTreasury and @StateDept, 85% sit abroad, and two hubs dominate: Hong Kong (179) and the UAE (167). Only 141 (15%) are inside Iran and the rest are spread across more than 40 jurisdictions: Marshall Islands 95, mainland China 76, India 48, Turkey 42, Panama 29, Singapore 21, Seychelles 19, Liberia 18, and UK 15.
Hong Kong's entries are overwhelmingly single-purpose front companies in shared industrial-building addresses, set up for shadow banking and oil brokerage.
The UAE is the largest host of operating businesses: trading LLCs, ship managers, exchange houses. More on both next. (1/9)

The UK's new Iran sanctions restores the sectoral bans that EU lifted in 2016 as part of the Iran nuclear deal (banking, insurance, energy, metals, gold, software, shipping), and adds a power to sanction individual ships, and bans Iranian aircraft from landing in the U.K.
What the U.K. new Iran sanctions mean; on paper, a lot but in practice, it depends on enforcement. UK-Iran trade is negligible and US secondary sanctions have kept British firms out for years. The marginal bite is the UK nexus: Lloyd's insurers and P&I clubs, sterling clearing, UK-flagged tonnage, software exporters, and the regime's sanctions evader based in London.
Without OFSI/FCDO investigations, actions and penalties, this is a positive press release with a statutory instrument number.
Iranian banks in London. Melli Bank plc, Persia International Bank plc and Bank Saderat's UK arm were already asset-frozen on 29 September 2025; Bank Sepah International returned under the UN listing. Their wind-down licence expired in November. Today changes little for them since they are frozen shells.

🚨The FDD Action-endorsed GUARD Act just passed subcommittee markup. It’s an important step to protect America from Chinese-controlled tech.
Our @APaolozziMoore explains:
“The GUARD Act of 2026 closes a real and growing gap in our national security framework by bringing foreign-made robotics communications equipment under the same scrutiny we already apply to other sensitive technologies. Robots that navigate our physical spaces, collect sensor data, and operate autonomously present unique risks when produced or controlled by entities beholden to adversarial governments. Congress should move swiftly to advance this bill. The threats it addresses are not hypothetical, and the window to act is narrowing.”

Treasury promised to sever every economic lifeline Tehran has left and finally end the threat of the Iranian regime. We also warned that Iran’s enablers cannot continue to enjoy access to the U.S. dollar and the global financial system. Banque Misr UAE decided to find out the hard way, and today, we are taking the first step in holding it accountable for its continued, egregious support of the Iranian regime.

Treasury Secretary @SecScottBessent announces Operation Economic Outcast against Iran
Top highlights:
- Treasury, State, and the U.S. military are meeting with global leaders to warn of doing business with Iran. Shut down activities or we will do so unilaterally on our end.
- Five targets of sanctions (1.) digital assets, (2.) technology, (3.) gold, (4.) aviation, and (5.) shipping.
- Goal is to block any potential economic revenue for the IRGC and Iranian regime, Admin wants a zero leakage approach.
When asked about China the Secretary said "every entity should know they will face U.S. sanctions. Everyone will be held accountable."
The actions taken by the UAE were not coincidental

What we need is greater awareness that the rhetoric pushed by Mamdani, El-Sayed, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and others has real-world consequences. The surge in antisemitic hate crimes means thousands of dangerous bigots are being emboldened—and some will escalate to deadly violence. This innocent woman paid the ultimate price. Had her assailant been caught after either of the two times he vandalized a Jewish business, she would be alive today.

The Senate just passed an extension to the Iran Sanctions Act as part of the Russia Sanction bill - another step toward ensuring key sanctions on Iran do not expire at the end of this year.
Last May, the House passed the Solidify Iran Sanctions Act, fully striking the expiration deadline.
Now we need to get it across the finish line. These regimes shouldn’t be able to wait out American resolve.
Lindsey understood that peace is secured through strength.
The Senate just passed the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia Act, honoring his legacy and advancing his and President Trump’s goal to end Moscow’s war.
I’m pleased it also includes a version of my bipartisan Solidify Iran Sanctions Act to extend key sanctions on Iran.
