Today the #PAHouse passed House Bill 2084 (The PA Promise) by a vote of 119-83.
We thank Chairman @RepHarris and @SenHughesOffice for their work on this important legislation.
We also thank the bipartisan group of 119 House members who voted to move this bill to the Senate.
HB 2084 the #PAPromise passes out of the House Education Committee by a party-line vote of 14-12.
We thanks the representatives who supported this legislation including its sponsors @RepHarris and @SenatorHughes.

Top House Democrats are touting a poll which found that increasing state funding for higher education so all students from families making less than $250k get tuitionless degrees at state colleges and universities.
The PA House Education Committee is considering HB 938 which would add APSCUF and AFSCME as voting members to the PASSHE Board of Governors.

House Bill 1168 passes the #PAHouse by a vote of 107-95.
We thank all those who supported shared governance on the PASSHE Board of Governors. The bill now heads to the Senate.
House Bill 1168 made it through second consideration earlier today.
There was one amendment that failed by a vote of 102-100.
