This week we began work package 3&4 of the APPRAISE study, the next stage of development and testing of the new APPRAISE PROM. 🎉 (1/3)
In these work packages, we will be conducting 4 patient surveys to test the psychometrics of the PROM in the context of both short-term and long-term surgical outcomes, as well as within a clinical trial. (2/3)
We are pleased to have completed work package 2 of the APPRAISE study. ✅
We completed 27 cognitive interviews with patients to assess the user acceptability of the first version of the new PROM, and a further 9 follow-up interviews following modifications to the PROM. (1/3)
We worked with a PROM translation and linguistic validation expert and a team of translators to ensure the PROM has cross-cultural applicability and can be easily translated into other languages. (2/3)
