This is what we have been hearing for almost three decades. Nigeria’s political class is not intellectually competent to solve this problem. And also they do not have the political will to fix electricity
I used to blame local billing too, until the broader policy picture clicked. Today's crash shows the depth of the crisis. @NGRPresident @officialABAT, with respect, a fragile national grid requires thoroughbred electrical engineering specialists at the ministerial helm.
At this point it is worthless to pay for electricity
lol almost 30 years since the return of democracy and this is the low quality problem we are still dealing with
It’s funny Wike is talking about political gamblers. A politician that is only known for demolishing. No track record of brilliant initiatives or policies. Just beer parlor rhetorics.

THIS is why preserving music video archives matters. Mariah Carey’s “Loverboy (Remix)” was shot on 35mm film back in 2001, and this new 4K restoration was reconstructed shot by shot from the original film elements. David LaChapelle’s colorful visuals still look incredible 25 years later.
The last time I was at the National Theatre it was for a Wale Adenuga live show of Papa Ajasco featuring the Raypower OAPs Baba Gboin and Ambrose Somide.

Watching Blaqbonez evolve has been fascinating. This is a beautiful piece Ayo; we need to bring back write-ups like this that highlight the process. No one gets to where they are by chance. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
In 2012, I watched a skinny kid step into a makeshift studio.
14 years later, Blaqbonez has reinvented himself four times, from “Best Rapper in Africa” to Nomadinho.
I explore his evolution and why his fourth prime might be his most exciting yet.
