These types of groups usually fall into one of two categories:
1. Useful idiots who hate our country and the West more generally.
2. Foreign-funded fronts designed to push policies that intentionally weaken our country and our national security.
Lewis' comment implies that it is in fact fair to attack Canadian Jews for the actions of the Israeli government. I wonder if he'll extend that logic to another religion's followers and the actions of any number of both state and non-state actors in the same region.

The fact that so many pro-Palestinian people continue to justify what happened on October 7, 2023, speaks to the fact that most of them just hate Jews and want them dead.

This was a music festival. People drove out to the western Negev to hear a DJ and stand under cheap colored shade and drink from red fridges that still say Coca-Cola in the frame. By the time this camera is moving, the music is gone and the only question left on the audio is whether anyone lying there can still signal that they are alive.
I’ve watched a lot of October 7 footage, hours of it, most of it unpublicized due to the severity of the imagery and the families not wanting it out there, and I still cannot get used to how ordinary the ground looks. Plastic chairs. A leopard-print bag by an open car door. A poster about being environmentally friendly. Then the bodies in the same dirt, and soldiers walking the same ground because the people who did this had already left with the ones they wanted alive.
Propagandists talk about this day as being just “chaos” and “both sides” and a raid that got a little out of hand.
This is not that.
This is what a massacre looks like when it is finished with a field and has not yet finished with the country. This is what intent to kill anyone and everyone looks like.
They came for civilians at a festival. Young unarmed students. That is the whole sentence. Everything after it is commentary.
The Red-Green Alliance on full display and of course they're making explicit calls for violence. Their entire worldview is predicated on using violence against those they disagree with.
