ALT Federal investigators on the planet Trident have uncovered a Cerberus cell. Authorities seized the human-survivalist group's laboratory, finding two dozen prisoners who claim that Cerberus subjected them to biotic-suppressing drugs with potentially brain damaging side effects. The captives were briefly questioned before being released back to their families. Only one Cerberus operative was captured during the rescue operation. Six others were killed and two reportedly committed suicide rather than face arrest.

ALT The turian government is considering further reparations to humans whose ancestors died in the Relay 314 Incident at Shanxi. The turian government previously made reparations for what humans call the ‘First Contact War’ but refused to pay interest. The Turian Hierarchy has supported improved relations with humanity since the Alliance’s heroic sacrifice defending the Citadel from Saren’s attack two years ago.
ALT Newly declassified reports are shedding light on the recent disaster at the colony of Fehl Prime. Alliance intelligence suggests that a large vessel or asteroid crashed into the planet’s surface near the colony, but it remains to be explained how this object approached the colony without sufficient warning for an evacuation. An Alliance marine, Lieutenant James Vega, received a commendation for his efforts to save the colonists, although those efforts proved ultimately futile. Requests for more information from Councilor Udina’s office have not been answered at this time.

The occasion will mark the first official visit to the Citadel by a batarian in more than a decade. Despite the uproar among the citizens of the Citadel, the Council believes that this visit is the best hope for peace between the enstranged batarians and the human Alliance.
