At my Aunt's and she says "oh your cousin left these here, take them"
I messaged my cousin right away and told him to come rescue these things, his Mom is a wild animal!!! 🤣😂
The state of Pokemon is so bad right now, I can't even find products for my Nephews (4-8) to rip
Last time I visited them I gave them books. They loved it and appreciated it, but they were still a little sad
Prior, everytime I visited we started the visit with a pack battle
It's just wild we couldn't do that because of how greedy adults can be, kids at these ages deserve to have fun and enjoy hobbies too.
I live. Ill just likely be a fart in the wind until the hobby cools off.
I am sure it will, as debts are getting to an all time high and scalpers won't be able to move product forever; but we have yet to hit that ceiling yet.
But I don't doubt its coming. TCG hype is cyclical.
Day 2 of asking where @ANN3THRAX is, haven’t heard from you in a while
(gonna stop at day 10)
If you have time check out Tiffy, Dendrx and Shakz event that's coming up.
I partook in the last Scavenger hunt stream and it was a lot of fun! I even won 100$ 🙌

Honestly, anytime I go to my Walmart its like a tornado went through the TCG section.
There is evidence of theft (ripped packs, open ETB boxes) and any hot sets are snatched up by scalpers before regular people even see them
Wouldn't be surprised if they removed the TCG section from most stores due to this. As it stands, they likely lose so much profit to theft.
Has anyone else had their Walmart remove the TCG section entirely? There have been rumors about Walmarts changing all of their TCG sales to online only, but nothing has been officially confirmed by Walmart yet. #PokemonTCG

Life has been busy, but I had to drop back in to say "told you so" 😅
Scalpers will never understand why certain sets or Pokémon become popular. They’re not in it for the love of the hobby, they’re just chasing quick profits. The usual upside? If your favorite ‘mons aren’t “hot” right now, there are still plenty of great singles out there for cheap.
But let’s not ignore the market manipulation happening lately. Cards that used to be affordable are suddenly spiking, and it’s not just natural demand, all the charts tend to look the same. Speculators and newcomers are buying up singles, hoping to create hype and cash out. The smart move? Don’t bite.
Artificially high prices can’t hold without real demand.
Patience almost always pays off.
Take that Drowzee that’s all over the place right now. The price chart is anything but natural. With so many accounts pushing the hype, it’s clear someone’s manufacturing demand. The only reason it stays high is because people play along. My honest thoughts? The TCG market is starting to feel a lot like the NFT bubble… more speculation than substance.
Makes you wonder how much of what we’re seeing is real and how much is just smoke and mirrors.
