Got a local live gig tonight hurray! Usually I can't post online about my gigs but my stalker "fan club" already harassed and threatened this venue's owner for hiring a "racist anti-vaxxer" and he told them to pound sand 🤣 Too bad the other venues in town didn't do the same 🤷‍♂️

It was a band. They weren't trying to do musical comedy. They were comedians singing blues classics with an all star lineup backing them. I can't understand watching them & thinking "well that version of "Midnight Hour" sure lacked the chuckles I expected"
I know everyone thinks SNL was only really funny for a short window that happens to be when they were 13 to 15 years old but I’ll never understand what made the Blues Brothers ‘funny’. His dancing? Is that it? Had to be there I guess

Oracle has invoked force majeure on Project Jupiter, the 2.45-gigawatt Stargate data center in New Mexico. No energy permits. $18 billion in loans the banks can't syndicate, trading at 89 cents on the dollar. $90 billion in capex against negative free cash flow. If a court lets this stand, the whole industry follows. This is the crack in the dam.

Before the fishnet shirts & MacBook Air, Trent Reznor was just a nice Jewish boy who sang in a band with his buddies. Frens, this is Slam Bamboo

Naomi doesn't understand why another country wouldn't voluntarily assist Israel in ethnically cleansing Gaza We can add this to the "you'd fill the fucking Grand Canyon with this" list of things Naomi doesn't understand
Egypt could have let in every Gazan refugee from bombardment. It could let into Gaza every truck with aid and medicines. It could allow Gazans to travel freely to the rest of the world. Why won’t they?

This is a very interesting story. I have a ton of questions. Good on David Rovics for getting his friend to open up as much as I've ever seen a German do
My old friend Boris had an office in the Hollywood Bread building in Hollywood, Florida, where he met one Mohammed Atta, along with a lot of mysterious Israelis.

🚨🚨 DANGEROUS DEVELOPMENT: The U.S. Supreme Court may soon decide that using the Flock database requires a warrant. This would give the Court's approval to the idea that Flock cameras can exist with regulation. While ruling that an ALPR search is a 4th Amendment search that requires a warrant would, in theory, restrict Flock and other ALPR systems, it is also the system's way of trying to legitimize them. We cannot accept the position that these cameras are acceptable even with warrants/regulations. We already know that this government will spy on us in secret and without a warrant when a warrant is required by law. Edward Snowden blew the whistle on the NSA, which was doing just this. The cameras must come down. ----- The decision on whether or not to review the case that will decide ALPR database search constitutionality is set for Sept 28th. nitter.cf/OrwellDay/status/21028…
I'm sorry to report that Alasdair Whitney of the Institute of Justice has taken a shameful position on Flock cameras, and at a critical moment. He argues that the cameras and network can stay up and collect all the data they collect today, as long as the government agrees that accessing the data requires a warrant. We already know that this government will spy on us in secret and without a warrant when a warrant is required by law. Edward Snowden blew the whistle on the NSA, which was doing just this. This was the one time the government was caught; how many other instances are there of the government illegally spying on us that we don't know about? And they persecute Edward Snowden for telling us this truth to this day. Does that sound like a government that has changed its ways? And we're supposed to trust this government with a warrant requirement? Alasdair Whitney didn't even ask or suggest that we should have some oversight over how the data is stored and collected. It's sitting in a cloud held by a private company that can do whatever it wants with it. There are no protections at all! And we're supposed to let this government, which spies on us in violation of the Constitution, have in place a surveillance network of control and subjugation nearly identical to those used by authoritarian regimes like North Korea and China? Shame on the Institute for Justice for being so weak at a time when we need strong voices the most.

Thiel went on to say, "Now, you're probably thinking that's something the antichrist would say, and there's an 87% chance that you'd be correct, but let me reassure you that 13% of the time you'd be wrong"
Peter Thiel: "If you're evil and you're at least competent...maybe you're actually kind of good because you're at least getting something done... 99% of the businesses, companies, people, political leaders, business leaders are totally incompetent..." Yes this is real.
