The Pitch. At the glitzy CappaCale, Londyn dances for tourists, but when she volunteers for the club's black-market B2B implant to get some extra credits for her brother's medication, she starts seeing a horrific death that doesn't belong to her. Londyn's waking world is unraveling. Her boss/boyfriend is becoming more obsessive, her brother can't take anything seriously, and she might just be falling for the implant's inventor, Julian Butcher. As the mod pulls her toward her breaking point and social unrest seethes in Miami, Londyn must decide whether to surrender her mind to the system that has consumed everyone she has ever cared about, or tear herself free by inviting a violent, uncontrollable force into the mind she barely owns herself.
