A good review of A Marvelous Order, the Robert Moses/Jane Jacobs opera by @juddgreenstein, @frankelfrankel and Tracy K. Smith. It premiered in PA, but a NYC run would be awfully nice. wsj.com/articles/a-marvelous…

Hey @onthemedia - we thought you might want to know that we’re premiering our Jane Jacobs / Robert Moses opera this Thursday, in PA! We’ll let you know when we bring it back to NYC. Here’s the wonderful story that OTM did about our opera back in 2019: wnycstudios.org/podcasts/otm…

Kevin Bacon’s father, Ed Bacon, was the master planner who led years of development, “slum clearance” and “urban renewal” in Philadelphia. He was a close associate of Robert Moses, who is one of the subjects of my new opera, @AMarvelousOrder. Does that count?
Heather@heatherdino0920 Sep 2022
6 degrees of Kevin Bacon as a timeline cleanse. I’ll start: Went to middle school with Matt Rapley who was on Canadian Idol with Carley Rae Jepsen who had Tom Hanks in her music video and Tom Hanks was in Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon.

This is my most ambitious artistic work to date. In addition to music throughout, this opera has animation throughout that I've created—synchronized and in deep conversation with the opera’s music and poetry. Get your tickets and make a trip to @PSUpresents!
