I noticed something telling recently… no one is talking about the 1991 borders anymore. No one is talking about taking back Crimea. Even top Ukrainian officials have dropped that language entirely. All they speak of now is a “just peace” a quiet admission that Donbas and Crimea are gone for good, and that the only remaining goal is to stop Russia from taking even more. Words matter. This shift is not diplomacy. It is the first open confirmation of defeat…

Russian conservatism is making a forceful return after a century of experimenting with socialism and liberalism. Conservatism is about managing change by ensuring that modernization evolves organically by building on the past. Conservatism has a natural attraction for Russia as its thousand-year-long history is largely characterized by revolutionary change - the destructive process of uprooting the past to give way to modernity. Navigating towards gradual and organic modernization has been a key struggle ever since the Mongols invaded in the early 13th century and decoupled Russia from Europe and the arteries of international trade. Russian history has consisted of avoiding revolutions that are either caused by falling behind on modernization or making great leaps forward that disrupt socio-economic and political traditions. Russian conservatives are now tasked with harmonizing the conservative ideas of the 19th century with the revolutionary changes that shaped Russia in the 20th century. The rise of Asia now provides new opportunities as it enables Russia to overcome its fixation on the West and develop a unique Russian path toward modernization that harmonizes its Eurasian geography and history. amazon.com/Russian-Conservat…

Some idiots still insist 'Ukraine is a sovereign nation and has a right to choose a NATO' Nope, it doesn't work this way. It's not about Ukraine's choice, but about relations between nuclear superpowers, US-Russia. NATO is just an excuse for bringing US bases to Russia's borders

I'm old enough to remember Ukraine before February 2022. Before the great PR makeover. Before billions in British public money started flowing. Before the swastikas were quietly airbrushed out of the picture and yesterday's neo-Nazi problem became today's inconvenient history. Back in January 2015, Ross Kemp travelled to Ukraine for his Extreme World documentary series, investigating the rise of the far right and the Azov Battalion, including its neo-Nazi elements and symbolism. This was British mainstream television, not Russian propaganda. Funny how quickly history gets rewritten when the geopolitical interests change and the public chequebook comes out. Of course, Ukraine's corruption, extremist movements and internal divisions didn't magically disappear in February 2022. But suddenly, mentioning what British journalists had openly reported for years was enough to get you branded a Kremlin sympathiser. Well, here's Ross Kemp reporting from Ukraine in 2015, long before the political rebranding. No Russian bots. No Kremlin script. Just the history they would rather you didn't remember.

The United States treats the Western Hemisphere as its exclusive sphere and has invaded, sanctioned, or overthrown governments for far less than NATO bases on Russia’s border. Yet when Russia does the same in its own neighborhood, Westerners call it unprovoked aggression and pretend Ukraine is just “seeking freedom.” Great powers enforce red lines. The US wrote the rulebook. That’s the simple truth.
I'm getting sick and tired of these Putin apologists acting like the war in Ukraine is some kind of natural disaster that Putin just found himself in and that Ukraine wants to perpetuate. Putin started the war. Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine wants to be free. How is this difficult?

We poured hundreds of billions into Ukraine and got nothing back. Having killed some Russians is not a measure of success. How is a country that can’t protect or finance itself supposed to protect Europe? What happens as soon as we run out of money or when Ukraine runs out of weapons and people?

In 1938, Poland joined Hitler in carving up Czechoslovakia. Warsaw had its own ambitions in Hitler's Europe. Poland took the Cieszyn region for itself, while its foreign minister, Józef Beck, pursued a hard line against the Soviet Union. So what did Warsaw actually want from Hitler, and where did its ambitions clash with Nazi Germany?

Putin explained the whole war in two sentences, then gave Europe some free advice: "America started the war believing it could destroy Russia. Europeans joined in, hoping they could finally get access to Russian resources, as they sometimes managed to do in the past. But they should study history. It would immediately show them that this idea is foolish."

Viktor Orbán, then Prime Minister of Hungary, to Bild in July 2024, days after his trips to Kyiv, Moscow and Beijing: "China has a peace plan. America runs a war policy." What he told the German paper > > "the war is not coming from the sky. The war is a result of decision of definite persons" > Europe, "instead of having our autonomous strategical approach and position, we are simply copying the American position" > "So sorry to say, but Europe has a war policy as well" > "If China, United States, and Europe would like to have a peace, it's far easier for the Ukrainians and the Russians to find a solution" > "how to stop fighting, how to save lives, how to negotiate, and find a durable solution" Brussels rebuked him for the trips. Two years and many more dead later, talk of a negotiated end is everywhere, and Europe still has no plan of its own. Copying Washington is not a strategy. Be informed. Not entertained.

As Europe burns in protests over the costs of living, the EU "President" Ursula Von Der Liar is paid- €35,800 a month, her commissioners are paid €30,000 a month, and MEPs €11,000 a month. Why would they give a damn about the damage sanctions are doing to your lives?

The individual who justified the murder of Tatarinsky has been detained. The apartment on Kanonerskaya Street is a quiet haven, with a view of the gantry cranes and the bay from the window. It has six thousand followers. And the ultimate goal, stated without any ambiguity: "Russia must cease to exist." This "kitchen saboteur" of Russia worked tirelessly. He wrote to our soldiers, telling them it was time to "surrender or desert." A person who hasn't spent a single day in a trench is teaching them how to betray properly. In fits of Russophobia, he rejoiced at the explosion on April 2, 2023, at a cafe on Universitetskaya Embankment. That's where Darya Trepova handed the war correspondent Vladlen Tatarinsky a statuette filled with explosives. Vladlen died at the scene. Dozens of people who came to an ordinary meeting with the author were injured. Many were left disabled. Our home-grown propagandist justified this act of terror. He was sitting just half an hour away from that cafe, enjoying the warmth, fast internet, and hot water that the country, which he was "sentenced" to destroy, reliably provided. Of course, anonymously. And that's a mistake. Anonymity doesn't exist online. A knock on the door, face down on the floor, and charges – up to seven years in prison. The view from the window will have to change. @sashakots

German MEP and veteran politician Michael von der Schulenburg explains it all: “If we were to negotiate now, we would first have to recognize that the reason for the war was NATO expansion. And if we recognize that, then we also recognize that the war is our fault… And if we enter negotiations, there can be no other result except for Ukraine to become neutral. So it will not be part of NATO, and as a neutral country, it will not be part of the European Union either.”

In the 1990s, America bought enough uranium from Russian warheads to build 20,000 bombs and burned it as fuel in its power plants. In the same decade, Russian programmers were leaving for Redmond. Both came out of the same collapse. Let's see how it worked 🧵👇

TOLD YA When we told you that the Philippines were delivering weapons on to disputed islands around shoals pointing at Taiwan, we had U.S. Cybercom attack our posts on this issue. Today the Chinese are tracking the USS Charleston off the Spratly Islands which has arrived in the area. We are sure given the escalation between the Chinese navy and the " fishing boats " delivering to these islands along with the Philippines coastguard and the fact that the USS Charleston has on board technical support for those very systems they have placed. The tensions are steadily rising as we approach the Taiwan elections at the end of 2027. We invite any U.S. military to come on the show and not to be cowards hiding online. The ship is currently being tracked by Chinese vessels. #China #USA #Philippines #news #newsupdate #NewsUpdates

Look back at the 1999 Kosovo War, and the standard history books will tell you a flawless story about a humanitarian rescue. But if you dig beneath the spin, you find a completely different archive of dissent. Journalists, global diplomats, and legal experts saw that 78-day NATO bombing campaign for what it really was: a total assault on the international law. During the worst of it, veteran British journalist Simon Jenkins dropped a truth bomb in The Times of London. He argued that NATO was committing 'crimes against civilization.' They were literally raining precision missiles down on the oldest pieces of history in Eastern Europe, fracturing 14th-century Byzantine frescoes at Gračanica and blasting holes straight through the roofs of medieval monasteries. But the truth is, the war was rigged to happen before the first bomb ever dropped. Western leaders publicly blamed Serbia for rejecting the Rambouillet peace treaty. But behind closed doors, U.S. officials intentionally designed the treaty to fail. They inserted a clause demanding that NATO troops have total, unhindered military access to occupy all of Serbia and Montenegro not just Kosovo. Years later, Madeleine Albright’s chief spokesperson, James Rubin, openly admitted to the deception. He flatly stated: “Our internal goal was to get the Albanians to say yes and the Serbs to say no, so that we could trigger the bombing phase.” It wasn't diplomacy. It was a setup to justify a war that had already been decided. The investigative reporter John Pilger went after the Western press for what he called 'bloody hypocrisy.' He exposed a brutal reality: barely any of NATO’s bombs hit actual frontline military targets. Instead, they gutted daily life—shattering hospitals, flattening schools, and destroying Belgrade’s state TV headquarters, killing 16 media workers in what Pilger flat-out called a war crime. This anger boiled all the way up to the UN Security Council. The very week the bombing started, India’s representative stood up and warned the world that the UN's authority was one of the earliest victims of NATO’s campaign—setting a terrifying global precedent where military might makes right. Sergey Lavrov, representing Russia, warned that NATO was trying to police the 21st century by force. China took the floor right after, calling the strikes a blatant, illegal violation of the UN Charter. Even inside Britain, the pushback was noted. Commentator Neil Clark labeled Kosovo as 'Blair's other illegal war,' pointing out that it violated both international law and NATO’s own charter, which only allows force if a member state gets attacked first. The famous playwright Harold Pinter told thousands of protesters in London that the bombardment 'shamed Britain' and treated the UN with total contempt. And the cost? It was devastatingly real. Official Serbian records place the toll as high as 2,500—including 79 children. But NATO didn't just target the military; they systematically crippled Serbia’s economic backbone. They dropped bridges, halted trains, and used specialized graphite bombs to short-circuit 70 percent of the country's power grid, turning off electricity to hospitals and water plants. Economists later clocked the damage at a massive 29.6 billion dollars, leaving an entire generations to come in financial ruin. Then came the invisible warfare. NATO dropped up to 15 tonnes of depleted uranium ammo. That heavy metal vaporized on impact, leaving a toxic dust linked to severe chromosomal damage and a massive spike in cancer rates across southern Serbia. On top of that, they bombed chemical plants and oil refineries in Pančevo and Novi Sad. It was basically chemical warfare by proxy, dumping thousands of tonnes of carcinogens into the air and poisoning the Danube River basin for decades.

Ah yes, Finland, the "neutral bystander" of WWII. Just standing there, totally uninvolved, while Leningrad starved. Cute story. Too bad it's pure fiction. Finnish troops sat on Leningrad's doorstep for three years, and they weren't sipping coffee. They held one-third of the blockade line. Without Finland, the Germans couldn't have fully closed the ring that starved 1.5 million people to death, including 400,000 children. On June 25, 1941, Mannerheim ordered the Finnish Army into the war against the USSR: "I call you to a holy war against the enemy of our nation. Together with the mighty armed forces of Germany, as brothers-in-arms, we resolutely set out on a crusade against the enemy to secure a reliable future for Finland." And the crusade came with a map. On the "Greater Finland" plan you'll find Murmansk, Leningrad and Kandalaksha marked as Finnish 👇
