It was a terrible day for our Canadian brothers and sisters. It's nice that other countries are thinking about us during this difficult time. Well, some countries are anyway. Thank you Ukraine!
Every loss of life is a tragedy. Canada has done so much to help us protect lives in Ukraine, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to Prime Minister @MarkJCarney and all Canadians following the explosion and fire at the military base in Wainwright. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those lost, and we wish a swift recovery to the injured.
One thing I really like about social media is the way it keeps people accountable. 20 years ago she would have likely gotten away with it. I hope SunnyBrook does the right thing.
Plus, it's WAY harder to eat a can of Campbell's tomato soup while you're driving. I mean, it's possible but I'll take the donut.
A serving of Campbell's tomato soup has more sugar than a Krispy Kreme glazed donut.
The can lists tomato puree, water, wheat flour and sugar, then under 2% of salt, potassium salt, natural flavoring, citric acid, vitamin C, celery extract and garlic oil. Half a cup of the condensed soup, which is one bowl once you add the water, has 12 grams of total sugar on Campbell's current label, 8 of them added. Krispy Kreme's nutrition sheet puts the Original Glazed at 10 grams.
Some of that sugar is the tomato's. A raw tomato runs about 2.6 grams of sugar per 100 grams and the paste concentrates it. The other 8 grams are the sugar on the ingredient list. It's there because tomato puree is sour and flour makes it flat, and the cheapest fix for both at a cannery is sugar. The soup also carries 480 milligrams of sodium a serving, 21% of your day, so you're getting the salt either way.
2 days ago while folding up a camp chair I was stung by a wasp. One of those big fuckers with the long stinger dragging out behind them. They're assholes. I was crushing him but still, he had no right. I danced around and screamed like a 12 year old at a Taylor Swift concert.
You know who else shows public executions? Communist countries with dictators. – at Huron-Kinloss, Ontario
The U.S. military plans to livestream the execution of Nidal Hasan, the ex-Army major who was convicted of the 2009 killing of 13 people at Fort Hood, when he faces a firing squad on Dec. 3, a Pentagon official said.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said earlier Thursday the Pentagon planned to make the execution public.
Hasan's case could mark the military's first execution of an American service member since 1961.
I guess it's time to put the scrapers back in the cars. I'm not ready for this shit. #frosty #cold #winteriscoming
I've started following this account and I find it super interesting. Do you ever get that "sudden full body jerk awake" just as you're falling asleep? There is a reason for that....
This seems bad. Happy Monday friends!

Use the R-word and I’ll block you, period. It’s vile, dehumanizing, and inexcusable. Stop normalizing it. Call it out. Hold people accountable.
And yes, there should be consequences for using language that degrades people with disabilities. Freedom to say something doesn’t mean freedom from consequences. 🤬
I 100% agree with this list. I would also guiltily turn up any one of the 3 if it came on the radio and nobody was around to mock me.
