Today's mass had the school choir, 3rd to 8th grade. Pleasantly surprised to see 13 of the 15 kids received communion on the tongue.

It was a pretty solid trip:
- A book on the Trinity
- A daily prayer book
- Illustrated lives of the saints for the kiddos
- 6 rosaries (1 for the wife, 5 for the kids)
- 6 brown scapulars (1 for me and 5 for the kids)
One of the things I’m most excited about is a 690-page behemoth called “The Trinity: On the Nature and Mystery of the One God” by Fr. Thomas Joseph White, OP.
People keep saying “we need to see justice served” but I honestly don’t think that’s why Trump approved it to be live-streamed. He is a showman with an enormous ego, and I think the decision to live-stream an execution by firing squad is rooted in that, not a desire for justice or deterrence.
My two cents: Capital punishment is for justice, not entertainment.

This is something a liberal/Democrat would never do. Thus the non-answer was inadvertently an answer.
Today a student asked me if I liked Donald Trump. I told her that it is not appropriate for me to give her my opinion on that kind of thing, and that she should ask her parents about it and also look into it on her own. She told me that multiple other teachers told her that they did not like him. I told her that I think that that was irresponsible and they should keep their opinions on politics to themselves.
It’s well past time for secular hospitals to be Catholicized.
