Kasunod ito ng pag-anunsyo ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) sa pag-alis ng ipinataw na ban sa online platform.

People use Discord for work meetings, school, and running small businesses. Block it and they all get hit, while bad actors just move to another app.
Child safety matters. So fix the actual problem, not just the easiest target!
Naglabas ng pahayag ang Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center na hindi nabigyan ng extension ang Discord sa kanilang 24-hour directive. Ang nabigyan lang ng extension ay ang Reddit.
Ayon sa pahayag nila, nagpadala ang Discord ng sulat sa CICC para ipakita na handa silang makipag-usap para sa existing teen safety measures nila.
