My friends, check out the book trailer for #TheCultureTrap! I've been using it with students, teachers, school leaders and policymakers to highlight the book and start a conversation about how culture can be used as an alibi for racism in US & UK schools. youtube.com/watch?v=d0IWmoqc…

ALT In this audio-visual account, I explain the driving force behind my new book, The Culture Trap: Ethnic Expectations and Unequal Schooling for Black Youth (Oxford University Press, 2023). I acknowledge and thank my son, Jeremiah, for encouraging me to produce this piece for public audiences.
