Spoke to Boys State at Rider University. 800 high students learning about State government. I told the students don’t be a “sound bite warrior”. Discuss the issue and the policy.

I was honored to celebrate and recognize the next generation of leaders at the 78th Annual Boys State yesterday. Thank you, @ALJBS for letting me share my journey in public service and the work of my office. Congratulations to the Delegates, and best of luck!

Thank you so much for joining us!
You are a shining example of where our program can lead
As a former delegate, I was truly inspired by over 600 of NJ's best and brightest from @ALJBS. Public service is a calling and it was a privilege to speak with our future leaders at Boys State on how they can improve lives in their communities, the state, and across the country.
Thank you, Governor, for joining us and sharing your words of wisdom with our statesmen!
@ALJBS is a tremendous organization, which works to build sound values of community, patriotism, and service. Thank you to the American Legion for their service.
A great group for a Career Seminar tomorrow!
Looking forward to joining @ActualAlexZ, @kevintshea, and @Mmakarski tomorrow at @ALJBS for a panel on "Careers in Journalism & Media."
There's more than one way to contribute to the public discourse!
And there's no better way to begin figuring out 'how' than at Boys State.
Always love to have you back, counselor!
