The Altadena Sheriff’s Station is reporting a major reduction in residential burglaries and has released a new public awareness video aimed at deterring trespassing and further strengthening community safety.

Heavy rain is currently affecting our region, and we urge everyone—especially those in recently burned areas—to stay vigilant. The recent fires have left the soil unstable, increasing the risk of mudslides, flash floods, and debris flows.

• Avoid flooded areas: Do not attempt to drive or walk through floodwaters
• Stay away from slopes: Areas burned by wildfires are especially vulnerable to mudslides
• Monitor conditions: Stay updated with local weather alerts and warnings
