in essence; it's exactly what i expect from Nixxes' contributions. :(

Although, it's not perfect. While it has raw SIAPI gyro support (which means you can use native gyro support), it doesn't have a dedicated SIAPI camera action like most Nixxes-led features. And because it lacks an SIAPI glyph fallback, you get funny errors, and ? marks.

the beauty of Steam Input API is that, in the near future: a game controller that adds Touchpad support can leverage this natively.

in case you wonder, this is because when using Steam Input API (which you can actually enable for all controllers!), it retains the same Touchpad Guitar action functions. Just bind the Guitar Strum to any of the input actions, and you'd get the same feature.

very interesting video to showcase the Touchpad functionality. I should check it out with my Steam Controller 2!
"Oh wow the Steam Machine controller screams if you drop it 3 feet" The Dualsense:
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Steam controller has this feature built in. It does not require external software to experience the scream. The DualSense has features that enable what is happening in the video, but it cannot do this without a game. playstation.com/en-us/accessor…
