It's been nearly a year since I last published a blog about Mini-Whiteboards and how I feel about them. Since then, as a school, we have done lots of work on routines around our use of MWBs. Have a read of my 2.0 blog to see our Agreed Consistencies around this brilliant classroom tool.
Thanks to @Mr_Raichura for some of the new inspiration around our routines.

This isn’t just about delay it’s about trust in a system. Can we rely on the results where they have rushed and scrabbled to get papers marked. In a system where results are inextricably tied to Ofsted grading this is utterly unacceptable schoolsweek.co.uk/sats-resul…

Now the SATs papers are published, I can talk about how whoever made one of the arithmetic questions 67 divided by 1 is both very funny and also no friend of mine.
Over the last few weeks we have given a number of maths challenges to @BedsSchTrust schools.
With over 100 entries to far and still a week to go it will be hard judging the different key stage competitions.

OFSTED Grade distribution for the 175 primary school inspections published to date. Because it was raining and I was bored. No exceptionals given out since the glut in the pilot schools. Achievement most likely to be judged NA, and also seems to have driven SM judgements.

Ofsted uses identical phrasing in all reports for many sections - so why not simply have a drop down list or a list of tick boxes?
With thanks to @DeputyGrocott for curating this. DM him for the full list.
