Los ecosistemas de manglares son tesoros naturales que resguardan una rica diversidad biológica y ofrecen importantes servicios ambientales, económicos y sociales, además de ser campeones en la lucha contra el cambio climático.

En México, la Península de Yucatán es hogar de la mitad de los manglares del país, con la Reserva Estatal Dzilam destacando como área clave para la conservación de especies como el jaguar.
