Is it safe to say Bill Mott doesn’t plan to win another race with a FTSer?

Peak TV.
I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.

Perfect for a married couple that will end up “drifting apart”.
Maybe the most important commercial ever made. You should watch it very carefully, pay close attention, and then make sure that your own family and home life are exactly the opposite of this ad in every single respect. I don't think that's the takeaway Apple had in mind however.

Update: After carefully reviewing the 2,000+ comments from relationship experts, marriage counselors, child psychologists, and people who have never met me, my wife, or my kids, I have decided to stay married after all. I had no idea that “drifting apart” was code for “you’re a weak cuck whose wife is already soft-launching her work husband.” Thank you for the diagnosis. I’ll just schedule a rekindle date night, suck it up, and ignore the fact that two adults mutually decided this wasn’t working. Turns out the only correct choice is to stay in a relationship neither of us wants so random people on the internet don’t feel sad about my daughters. Also, special thanks to everyone who explained that selling the house is me “forcing the kids out of their family home.” You’re right—houses are sacred and can never be replaced by any other structure where the same parents still love and raise the same kids. I’ll just keep the house forever even if we’re not living in it as a couple. Easy. And of course, the most important insight: my daughters are now permanently and irreversibly broken for the rest of their lives. Childhood ended the second we told them. Every future relationship, career, and mental health outcome is already ruined. Doesn’t matter that we’ll still both be actively raising them, that there were no fights, or that plenty of kids turn out fine after amicable divorces—those real-world details are irrelevant next to the expert consensus of strangers on X. The trauma is locked in forever. My bad. And to the people calling this attention-seeking: yes, I posted a short update because people were asking where I’d been, then immediately got ratioed by thousands of strangers who definitely care deeply about the emotional well-being of children they’ve never met. Totally normal and not at all performative. Appreciate all the unsolicited advice. The girls and I are doing fine. I’ll be back when I need more life coaching from anonymous accounts.

The money Dom is going to make from X for this post is going to save his marriage.
My wife and I decided to get a divorce. There were no fights, just two adults who realised they drifted apart from each other. This is probably the hardest thing I had to go through. First of all, telling our girls...seeing them so sad was heartbreaking. But we are still a team as parents and will do everything for them! Also we have to sell our house, the house I wanted to live in forever and raise my kids in... Going back to a smaller appartment will be rough. I still have a lot of to handle, that's why I wasn't active here on X. I'm really grateful for all the people who reached out and asked where I was 🙏🏼 This women will always be a part of my life, she gifted me with two perfect daughters. I wish her all the best, great memories were made in those years! I'll be back soon. Thank you everyone 🙏🏼

Not a bad day for @ChurchillDowns AND the entire racing industry. After yesterday’s breaking news, Churchill’s stock rose about 5% today. More importantly, horse racing got positive attention across mainstream business media, sports business outlets and social media. Horse racing is a BIG sport with an even BIGGER future. Combine professional leadership like Churchill Downs with the vision and innovation of entrepreneurs like me and so many others ready to get involved personally, professionally and financially and the potential is enormous. Sports investments have exploded over the last decade. I believe horse racing is the most undervalued asset in all of sports. This game needs new vision and new leadership. The pilgrims who came over on the Mayflower need to step aside and let it blossom!!!!! LFG!!!!! 🐎💪 Mike from Queens Commissioner

I love watching all this in real time.
BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Over the past four days, I’ve purchased 1 million shares and close to a 1.5% stake in @ChurchillDowns, and I may acquire more. I’m extremely excited about the possibilities. Churchill has tremendous assets, led by what I believe is the global crown jewel of horse racing, the @KentuckyDerby. Last year’s Derby peaked at 24.4 million viewers. To me, that’s a major proof point of how BIG this sport can become. As the owner of Repole Stable, one of the largest, most successful and recognizable stables in the country, I see firsthand the potential of what I believe is one of the most undervalued sports nationally and globally. Horse racing needs more education, real marketing, innovation, and evolution. It also needs stronger leadership and greater accountability from the Old Guard racing entities that, in my opinion, have held the industry back for far too long. Nobody loves building epic businesses and brands in a disruptive way more than I do. I believe a meaningful ownership stake in Churchill gives me the greatest opportunity to help create value for Churchill shareholders AND make a positive financial impact across all of racing. Growing this sport means growing opportunities for everyone, owners, breeders, track operators, horseplayers, fans, and everyone whose livelihood depends on racing. I really look forward to working with CEO Bill Carstanjen, his board, and management team to help turn that potential into both short term and long term results. Think Big. Dream Bigger.

I have absolutely f$&king had it with the dishonesty, incompetence and bullshit leadership in horse racing. It has been a MONTH since I called out what I believe was a completely illegitimate horse-sale transaction and demanded that @keenelandsales, the @jockeyclub and everyone involved correct the record. The person listed as the buyer did NOT buy the horse. She was never billed. She never paid. Yet somehow, in this industry’s version of Dumb and Dumber, she is STILL listed as the buyer and the same bullshit price is STILL being published. Yesterday I named the horse Summer Memories. Equibase, owned by The Jockey Club, sends me the notification. Same buyer. Same price. Same bullshit. You seriously cannot make this circus up. If she bought the horse, show the bill. Show the payment. Show the proof. If I’m wrong, embarrass me publicly. But if I’m right, FIX THE F$&KING RECORD. This isn’t leadership. I’ve had it. 😞🤦🏻‍♂️
As my team and I prepare for the Keeneland September Sale, I have two major concerns. First, after studying these books for more than 15 years, I hope the physicals look better than the pedigrees. Outside of a few elite proven stallions and first-year and second-year sires, Books 1 and 2 are extremely top-heavy. For two decades, America has sold many of its greatest Grade 1 and Breeders’ Cup mares to Japan. Their daughters now have daughters, and Japan’s pedigrees keep getting stronger. Meanwhile, we have weakened our foundation. We have weakened our female families. We have weakened the American broodmare band, and we have hurt the breed. Big numbers at the top don’t mean the overall breed is healthy. I am not impressed with the quality or diversity of this catalog. My second concern is transparency. Last year, Hip 5, an Uncle Mo filly and full sister to Seismic Beauty, was reported sold for $900,000 after I stopped bidding around $800,000. The ticket was signed by an agent. Thirty minutes later, the consignor offered me the horse for $800,000. I offered $500,000. They declined, then called back and accepted. I own the horse. I paid $500,000. Yet one year later, Keeneland still publicly reports a $900,000 sale, even though Keeneland invoiced me for $500,000. Who was the original buyer??? Who authorized that bid??? Why did the transaction collapse immediately??? Was someone trying to push me to $950,000??? How many other reported prices differ from what was actually paid??? The agent who signed the ticket must be held accountable and explain exactly what happened. But the ultimate responsibility sits with Keeneland’s president, senior management and trustees. They knew about this. I was crystal clear that I wanted this changed ASAP. They refused to correct the public record. And let’s be honest: Keeneland is the @jockeyclub. Same leaders. Same bullshit. Three leading Jockey Club stewards, Everett Dobson, Bill Lear and Bill Farish, are also Keeneland trustees. They constantly preach transparency. It’s time to practice it. I have spent between $10 million and $20 million at this sale annually for each of the past 10 years. Buyers are investing serious money and putting their trust in Keeneland. I am demanding a full investigation, a public explanation and a corrected record. We deserve answers. Every buyer deserves transparency. What happened @keenelandsales??? Does anyone know what happened???

I had my independent consulting team, led by a well known individual on HRT, do a little markup on your selections. Lots of highlighter, lots of highlighter. No clue what any of that means.

Churchill just declared race 2 no contest. That takes a lot of guts to do. It also cost them a lot of money to do the right thing. Kudos to them.
