What percentage of HS players think they're good at throwing and catching? My guess, 95% plus. In reality, less than 25% of HS players are actually good at throwing and catching! It has to be practiced intentionally every day! Throwing and catching is prerequisite #1.

Saw a H.S. Kid on Instagram run 10 feet and throw the ball as hard as he can into a net at 90 MPH and then fall down. Figured I would look up his current H.S. Stats to see how he pitches. Currently 15 walks in 4 innings. If you cant throw the ball for strikes does it really matter?

It’s pretty simple…. If you have trouble finding the weight room in Winter, you’ll probably have trouble finding your name in the line up in Spring.
