Good day with lots of steps. Pitches were soaking from rain the last day and a bit so out with the push mowers to get the pitch mown @HillheadSports. No games at the ground this weekend as all teams are away so some good recovery for the ground also. 🏴🏉

On top of a busy time, we’ve also turned out to help out a family member by doing his garden. Hedge trimming, grass cutting and strimming all going on. Always good to help out when others let them down.

Busy day at @AllanGlensRFC as we prepare for senior & junior rugby fixtures as well as a Saturday morning football match for @GlasgowHarpAFC1. Two rugby pitches, a football pitch and training pitch all given a fresh lick of paint as well as divotting across all three fields.
Squares all done @StirlingCCC Scarified 15 ways to remove a shit tone of thatch and organic matter there could still have been a load more to come out. Aerated to 5inches, then light seed under the 2280kg of loam followed by a bag of blade 8 grass seed and a bag of fert. 🏏🏴
Busy morning @Stenhousemuirc1 to get their sqaure done. Scarified, aerated to 5inches. Top dressed with 1& 1/2 ton of loam, bag of seed and bag of fertiliser. Big thanks to @nickyrodgers1 for the continued work on the sqaure. @Iain_McD17 is doing a top job looking after it 🏏🏴
That’s a wrap at Hamilton Crescent for the season. Square aerated to 5mm. A light seed then 2880kg of loam, levelled out and levelled ends, more seed a total of 25kg of seed and a bag of fertiliser. The end of the season and nearly time for a well earned holiday 🏏🏴
Busy day across the venues. Verti draining and sqaure renovation prep @StirlingCCC and Andy over to @Stenhousemuirc1 to begin scarifying their square. 3 passes done today and a lot of thatch and grass removed. More to be done 🏴🏏
Busy day @StirlingCCC, scarifying the square. Already a trailer load has come out with lots more to come for a proper clean out. Outfield has had a spring tine rake to start clearing out any old dead grass and weeds. Then a verti drain is planed after that on the outfield . 🏏🏴
Cricket season may be in the rear view but attention now turns to the end of season renovations and we are underway at @hillheadcc. Square cut right down and on our third direction of scarification, getting it ready for new loam & seed as we repair the season’s usage

Super proud of my team of volunteers today with the weather against us. We came so close to getting a game on after heavy rain overnight and all morning. Truly gutted we missed out at the final hurdle. Thanks guys for all your hard work. We go again tomo 💪🏏🏴

Early morning start on a beautiful Sunday morning @StirlingCCC. Out on the verti drain punching some very much needed holes in the outfield ahead of the games next weekend. This helps with breaking up soil compaction, improving surface drainage and promoting healthier turf 🏏🏴
