Yesterday was extremely special to me as I witnessed our groundbreaking event to a new state of the art @TheCastleHHS softball field. Finally, we honor our players in a space that reflects their hard work and dedication. Thanks all that made this possible.

This is true! Sad day for public education. It will cost @covkyschools between $800,000 and $900,000 dollars. This decision needs to be reconsidered.
“According to @All_in_KY, the decision will hurt districts and schools across the state who already committed or spent funds based on the promised extension. Fletcher said 13 districts currently have $34 million they have yet to spend…”

The KASS Fall Summit was a hit over the past two days. There was an abundance of professional learning, collaboration with KY legislators, terrific sponsors, networking among KY superintendents, & a visit from @LtGovColeman I’m honored to lead this great association.
Glad to hear from @LtGovColeman about the Youth Mental Health Initiative in Kentucky at the @AssociationKy Fall Summit! Thank you @jimflynnkysupts and KASS President @AGarrisonSuper for helping move this work forward!

The Prichard Committee has analyzed Kentucky’s Amendment 2, which would allow public funds to support private school choice. The analysis highlights the importance of maintaining public funds within the public education system to ensure broad access, consistent accountability, and equitable outcomes for all students. The Prichard Committee encourages voters to consider the potential impact on Kentucky’s education system when voting in November. An inspirational message from one of the founders of the Council for Better Education, Jack Moreland, to kick off our advocacy event last night against Amendment 2. Public funds for public schools. Vote no for vouchers. Vote no on amendment 2. @OurSchoolsKY
