This afternoon I cast the tie-breaking vote on the Inflation Reduction Act. This bill will help lower inflation and the cost of living for millions of American families—lowering the cost of health care, prescription drugs, and everyday energy costs.

Unbelievable news for one of our most gifted athletes! Y12 student Tara has been selected for the U18 Ireland Rugby Sevens squad! What an achievement! Tara represents @assumptionlive in Gaelic Football, Camogie and Netball. Good luck to Tara and the whole squad!

Politics in action. Incredible to be here in London and witness history unfold. Cries of ‘Bye Bye, Boris!’ ring out around Westminster as Johnson’s statement is read out.

Whatever your politics, don't sit out #AE22 today - get to a polling station & vote. There's a decent range of candidates to choose from right across the political spectrum. It's far better to at least try to change things than to stay on the sidelines & whinge.
