It pairs a solid-fuel booster with a hypersonic glider that, after separation, flies a shallow, maneuvering path instead of a ballistic arc, making interception harder. It is the ground-launched sibling of the air-launched Blackbeard, and it appears to lack the booster tail stabilizers seen on that version. Official specs are unpublished, though the air-launched requirements suggest roughly 800 km range and a 34 kg payload. It is meant to fit HIMARS (likely two per pod) and the future Common Autonomous Multi-domain Launcher (CAML) platform, offering about 80% of PrSM Increment 4's capability at lower cost.
